Overview
Selvara
A kindly looking woman who looks like she'd be more comfortable in a medical gown than the armor and miasmic rebreather she's donned
Goddess of healing, medicine, and quarantine
Appearance
A woman with mahogany hair, wearing armor under a white medical apron, a jury-rigged rebreather covers the bottom of her face, at her right side rests a mace and on her left multiple surgical and medicinal tools, her yes look tired, as if she has not truly slept in days
5'11"

A bindle of medicinal herbs in front of two palms facing outward rays radiating out around them, a heron taking flight, a hand palm forward radiating light
Magical healing, doctors, medicine, quarantine, advancing medical knowledge
Powers
Can heal almost any wound and cure almost any disease
Grants her followers medical knowledge and the ability to channel her power directly for healing when necessary

Overworked
Rituals
Prayer for Healing
“Selvara, steady-handed Mother,
lay your grace upon this wound.
Let flesh remember how to mend,
let fever break,
let breath return easy and unafraid.
Guide the healer’s hand,
calm the frightened heart,
and if pain must remain,
let it be bearable.
I ask not for miracles—
only for enough time to heal.”
Prayer for Quarantine and Protection
“Lady of the White Door,
keeper of the clean threshold,
stand watch here.
Let sickness stop at this boundary,
let no unseen hand cross this line,
and let those within endure the waiting.
Give us patience without despair,
distance without cruelty,
and the strength to protect by staying apart.
If one must stand alone,
let them know they were not abandoned.”
fasting for half a day before calling on divine energy for healing
The White Door
Practice: Homes or wards under quarantine: mark the entrance with: white cloth, chalk, tied herbs, The Vigil Chair, The Blood Cost - Practice: After channeling divine healing: the healer must rest, often under supervision, The Case Ledger, The Last Comfort - Practice: When healing is no longer possible: pain is eased, the dying are spoken to plainly, no false hope is given
Selvara used to interact with mortals rarely, but in the last 100 years of the fifth age she began to aid her followers especially the Stanzgarian Medical Inquisition directly in an attempt to curb the demon plague
History
helped found the Stanzgarian Medical Inquisition
Notes
while the demon plague was technically an invasion it also brought with it an actual plague that caused horrific bodily mutations
she is technically the head of the Stanzgarian Medical Inquisition
the medical inquisition is in fact just that an inquisition mostly searching for ways to cure people afflicted by the demon plague and give final rest to those they can't save
the actual plague part of the demonic incursion was worsened significantly by Nezarath
