Overview
NTR-50 Synoran Gauntlet (Paralyzer/Scream Reaper/Terrormaster) [NEUROTOR]
Datacore Interfacial Glove
An emulation of the SEER Glove created by NEUROTOR, the hacktivist collective founded by Hypnos.
This gauntlet was designed for Senior Psychological Captains and Psychiatric Specialists within the organization, as while most of them didn't possess access to the PentaCore Conglomerate's Executive Division sponsored SEER gloves, Hypnos still saw potential in them. Since he couldn't pilfer tech from the SEERs without declaring a second war with the Executive Division, he instead chose to make do with extracted data from espionage missions carried out by unaffiliated freelance operatives.
While the Synoran Gauntlet is unquestionably inferior to an actual SEER glove due to its weaker Qionic Bypass Potential and lack of deeper Qionic Resonance with the user, it was still a valuable tool for any Psychological Captain lucky to have it.
Even when it was replaced by an improved model based on the Second ID Psychiatric Specialist's stolen data from a SEERESS, this model was still heavily utilized by the lower ranking Neurological Specialists, as NEUROTOR couldn't afford to give all their personnel the improved version after the fall of the PentaCore Conglomerate during the Fourth Rebellion.
This particular copy of the glove was used by the Paralyzer, the aforementioned ID Psychiatric Specialist #2 who leaked improved SEER data from one of his victims. The gauntlet was given to him by Hypnos, who pitied his lack of access to SEER tech, as he too had fallen from the Executive Division's good graces.
After the Paralyzer obtained Cassandra's Qionic Interface Gauntlet in a successful ambush, this glove was then given to his lieutenant Scream Reaper, who used the glove in conjunction with an illegally modified SEER Gauntlet that he obtained from the ruins of Heaven's Tomb.
After Scream Reaper acquired some new toys of his own, the glove would be given to Terrormaster, as Scream Reaper reasoned that Terrormaster would require an improvement in weapons if he was going to claim new territory for NEUROTOR during the Tenth War.
