Shane is a papyrokinetic artist, and is Emi's main inspiration to keep painting. This comic was made when they were dating during sophomore year of high school. It depicts Emi and Shane having a picnic, then getting washed away by a rainstorm. They take cover in an abandoned building and wait out the worst of the storm at the end. Emi knows it's a little silly, but it's a fond reminder of the past.

The girl in the comic looks like a younger version of Emi, and the boy is her high-school boyfriend, Shane, who is now a part of the Normal Boots Squad. Even years after he moved, she has this comic in great condition, and Emi took after her ex's love for watercolor, and still sees this comic as inspiration.

When used in the inventory, a scene between Emi and Shane in high school plays, where Shane teaches Emi how to draw. It's one of the few times in the game where she lets her imperfections be, and is a way to show how much she cared for Shane.

Only Emi can benefit from holding this item. Holding the paper makes your woes wash away, and makes you feel inspired to do more damage.
