Overview
Crefus' Scythe
A red scythe wielded by Crefus. It used to belong to his mother Anaya, but after her execution, it was handed down to him. It has an eye design on it meant to empower it's abilities of magic negation.
A weapon
Looks
A special kind of metal enchanted by witches that deals extra damage to magic beings. The metal itself is a tough, sharp, unique kind that can effortlessly slice trees in half. The staff is made from compacted stone ingrained with runes that allow the true wielder to lift it easily.
True weight: 76 lbs (tbc)
Wielded weight: 10 lbs
History
Before Crefus was born
Abilities
It was an item used to hunt feral malignant witches who use their powers to cause havoc and dismay. Anaya was a professional witch hunter before she was put into the Kleiname Defense Barracks. In that time, it's magic negating properties were not used due to Kleiname being naturally magic resistant, but that didn't stop the scythe itself from being an effective weapon.
Notes
Anaya, the first wielder, is Crefus' mother. She died before he was barely a month old and Sam had plans to put the scythe into storage for safekeeping and then give it to Crefus as his official weapon when he was of proper age.
Because of Crefus' Kleiname half, the scythe had trouble fully devoting itself to him due to his natural magic resistance and the scythe's enchanted magic negation. In due time, however, Crefus learned to effectively wield it and now serves as a Gatherer for the citizens of Leebada.
