The Tesson Independence Conflict

Tesson was first uninhabited desert in the middle of nowhere. For years, nobody was willing to move to this unclaimed land. Then, the Privett went out into the unknown and said, "Yep! This is our home now." Led by the patriarch Tesson Privett, the family built houses nearby one of the few rivers of the land. And from there, they started a cow ranch and sold to the closest people nearby, the Southern country of Caline. From there, people slowly began to migrate there for freedom and a new life. Then, as the age of Imperialism came to be, the trade-based Caline government claimed the land of Tesson for themselves. Now, the Tessons were having NONE of it, so they pushed against Caline.

Tesson fought against Caline in order to gain sovereignty. The Caline government largely consisted of ones, and the people of Tesson primarily sevens. And once the Tessons won out, a large chunk of the Caline population left their homes to join the Tessons in their land, away from the Caline government. But, the Tessons were still a bid angry at the ones, which the Claine population mostly consisted of. So, those new Caline people who fled to Tesson, or those swept into the country due to their borders expanding were faced with tribulations. There were groups founded in order to fight against the supposed threat of the ones living in Tesson. And that resulted in the deaths of many innocent people, slain due to prejudice and hatred. But, as time went on, humanity evolved. People became more and more aware, and less and less hateful towards others. And so, the ones and sevens tried to live on harmony, those two being a vast majority of the population of Tesson. But, there is still some tension, 159 years after the fact. And that's where the story picks up, well after these atrocities happened, but still not forgotten.
