Overview
Deepshade
Town
Just north of a large lake connecting to the ocean, this town is shaded by large trees the feed of the fresh water coming in. With a wet terrain, the houses are mostly wood built with artificial elevation. Strange people and beliefs make this place only desirable to those looking to hide or those born there. Otherwise, it is a great trading post by sea, and traffic through the small town is common.

History
Deepshade/Thyslad Feud: A small battle (Not necessarily a "war") that started when Deepshade started making profane remarks about Thyslad powers, almost to the point of becoming a threat to the people.
A group of sailors sailed into Galekin using the inlet and needed a place to rest. After they landed, they decided to make a more permanent residence there, and named it Deepshade due to the Overgrown Fauna. Word spread of a small town taking shape, and some people moved there. A strange effect, or phenomena escaped through the village, making their though process differ from the rest of Galekin. Sine then, they have been the birth place of "Sailor's Footfall" Syndrome, where a Sailor out at sea for an extended amount of time may become mentally unstable after setting foot back on land.
