Overview
Augmentation: The Splinter
This is Augustus Quinten's Augmentation
This Augmentation allows August to create 3 perfect copies of himself at once. They are each singular beings, they do not have a telepathic connection, but he can feel their pain if they are hurt because they share the same pain receptors. He can create up to 9 'unstable copies', missing body parts, emotions, or holes in their memory. He can 'reabsorb' these copies at any time.
Appearance
August's body will begin to have a blurring, electronic malfunction look. The other creation with almost 'step out' of him from the side, or the front, but in a gitch effect.
The creation doesn't affect other people directly.
There's a new human that looks exactly like August.
Effects
It allows August, or whoever is using this ability, to do multiple tasks at once. Classes, basketball games. After a Splinter has finished its task or done what it was created to do for the day, it returns to August, and he can keep its memory. Studied for a test? He has knowledge. Learned a language? He remembers.
August is not in control of his Splinters, so if they do anything stupid, he reaps the consequences. Slept with two different girls and they found out? That's your trouble now, buddy. However, if one of his Splinters gets sick, he has a high chance to not get sick when he reabsorbs the Splinter.
Too many splinters can cause extreme pain to August. If he creates an unstable Splinter, it's a lot more difficult to control them or guess what they will do. He also needs to make sure that the Splinters never cross paths, or they can be seen.

This ability is one of the most difficult to master. People can end up creating extra hands or eyes, but fully splintering is incredibly complex. Only Augustus Quinten and Christopher Kline have gotten comfortable with this ability.
More than 9 Splinters in a day is dangerous for Augustus. He can become physically unstable, or pass out from the exertion. He can also form scars from unstable Splinters.
