• For there to be life there must be desires. For desires to be obtained there must be a way.


• Laws of Existence provided Aspect of Life with power to bestow ability to fulfil wishes and desires.


• Form of Arcanism which draws directly upon caster's desires, as opposed to drawing upon outside elements as means of Inspiration.


• Simpler in nature than Elemental Arcanism, other form of Arcanism. Other form requires outside sources of Inspiration. Direct Arcane Arcanism does not.


• Costs 'mana', as internal resource is known by Aylenn Peoples.


• 'Mana' is refined through mortal life forms' simply existing and exerting conscious effort. Mortal life forms can produce an 'Aura' due to link with Aspect of Life, Vitasal. Lessons of 'Aura' and 'Mana' were taught to mortal life forms by Vitasal.


• 'Aura' is linked directly to refining of 'Mana'.


• Most life forms can only refine so much 'Mana' at once. Mortal bodies are flawed, inherently, much weaker than Vitasal itself, which can draw upon infinite amounts of 'Mana'.

• All manifestations appear lilac in coloration, with messy 'blots' of lavender, dark purple, red, navy blue.


• Coloration is based entirely upon what is mental and internal reacting with what is physical and external.


• Similar to chemical reaction.

• Causes caster's desires and wishes to come to fruition before them.

• Caster of Direct Arcane Arcanism can fulfil their own wishes and desires.

• Weaker, less-skilled Arcanists are capable of doing less, and creating less than those that gained experience with casting.


• All Arcanism 'branches' are only capable of providing as far as the caster's 'Mana' supply extends.


• Under most circumstances, generation of 'Aura', linked directly to internal act of refining 'Mana' is not constant. Generation of 'Aura' is linked directly to willpower.

• Weaker, inexperienced casters can easily be weakened and exhausted by act of refining 'Mana' and generating 'Aura'.


• Mortal life forms exposed to power of Aberrations and subsequently corrupted produce corrupted 'Mana', and poisoned 'Aura'. Desires warped to align with that of Aberration in question.


• This corrupted magic is known by many names throughout many cultures across many lands. Most commonly referred to as Eldritch.

Direct Arcane Arcanism is aligned most closely to the mental energies produced by a mortal life form. Unlike Elemental Arcanism, Direct Arcane Arcanism draws Inspiration from internal desires, shaped by individual needs, wants and desires. Therefore, such things are less difficult to make physical than those which must be rigorously studied and deeply comprehended.

• As with all magic, Direct Arcane Arcanism requires life.


• Requires 'Mana', which generates 'Aura'. 'Mana' refined through the exertion of conscious effort. 'Aura' is manifestation of refining 'Mana'.

• Inexperienced casters oftentimes keep means of balance on hand in case their bodies weaken.


• Tables, railings are occasionally used to accomplish keeping balance.

Magic becomes easier to cast as the caster gains greater mastery over the art of exerting their willpower, in order to create 'Mana', and generate 'Aura'.

Save for extremely unique individuals, 'Mana' is refined through knowing exertion of willpower. This can quickly become tiring and outright dangerous for inexperienced casters, who can find themselves collapsing during the middle of attempting to cast. They can even faint if they overexert themselves to a dangerous degree.
