A type of Craftborn associated with Visimancy.

Visiborn are most well-known for their four eyes arranged in stacked pairs. The two sets can move independently from each other are adapted for different things, most notably daytime vision in one and nighttime vision in the other. Together, they form a picture with quantities of information that would overload a normal human, but the Visiborn's enhanced visual cortex is able to sort through everything.

Other notable physical traits include skin in shades of red-violet and burgundy, a bald head, retractable claws on the hands (with no visible fingernails otherwise), and a short, downturned beak reminiscent of an owl's, with the nose flattened and fused into it. While the beak does affect a Visiborn's eating habits, they are able to speak normally. Patches of soft feathers also grow around the upper arms and chest.

When a Visiborn is more heavily mutated, the spine grows longer, leading to an elongated torso and hunched back. The feathers also grow longer and spread further down the arms and along the back, though most skin still stays exposed. Eventually, the arms lengthen and the legs shorten to trigger a quadrupedal stance, and the body bloats to twice the size as additional eyes appear all over. These new eyes may have all sorts of colors and pupil shapes, mirroring those from across the animal kingdom.

Visiborn typically keep their claws retracted in day-to-day life, though since they don't have normal fingernails, occasional use for more mundane things isn't unheard of.

Fully mutated Visiborn are pursuit predators capable of spotting targets at insane distances, seeing through nearly any form of camouflage and even physical boundaries thanks to their powerful Visimancy allowing perception across the electromagnetic spectrum.
