Illuminated Path
Worship of the seven illuminated gods.
History
The Seven illuminated gods sprang forth at the beginning of creation when the universe was unformed. Firstly they created the upper planes as a place of perfection in their vision. Unfortunately they found that in crafting such a beautiful perfect world they left it's horrible reflection in the form of the lower planes.
Beliefs
Temples
Darum: Gothic architectural styled churches.
Isteria: Simpler churches
Larith: Large columned temples
Cerkulan: Stone circles in wild areas, garden surrounded circular temples
Elonia: Painted domed churches
Rashatar: Square temples with a central outdoor plaza for demonstration or competition
Seiose: Costal tower like temples.
Each god maintains a region in the upper planes that is crafted in their vision of perfection.
Eight separately observed holy days. An expectation of donation.
Revere the seven. Resist the temptations of their shadows. Follow a patron deity. Do not consort with fiend, abominations or fae. Do not practice necromancy.
Traditions
Darum: Clerics must complete an education at a monastery and recite devotion. Paladins take a binding oath to their orders
Darum: Suncalling: Held on the winter solstice. A feast day with multiple candle and torch based decorations.
