Cliff of Eternal Night is on the north side of the city. This is where rock-cut tombs and mausoleums are. Daystar Gardens are in the central courtyard. Stables and animals are in barns on the south side.

Ataraxia is another religious settlement. This place houses the tombs of the dead, cut into the rock of the mountains, and the friars and priestesses who live in the Abby maintain the temple where people come to pray to their ancestors for a healthy family and crops. The deity of the Moon is represented by the Feminine as Night and Death and the Masculine is the Daystar and life in the form of agriculture. They believe the moon is the sun's wife, equally responsible for life.
Ataraxia is also home to the Black Guard, the most skilled army in any kingdom. The Black Guard is made of elite warriors, both male and female. They are recruited after their 15th birthday to live, train, and be educated at Ataraxia. They learn not only the art of war, but first aid, apothecary, wild plants, tracking, and hunting. They wear black pants and shirts, a black vest hip length vest with a gold sun/silver crescent moon on the back. Their armor is black leather as are their boots. Rank is denoted by a change in armor style/vest style and the gold sun/ silver crescent moon on the braces and/or collar. Long wool winter cloaks in black with no emblem. Bhanu Tywhey and Tallon Zjarr and the generals in charge.
