Overview
Oaken Stream
Nestled just north of the southern mesas, Oaken Stream is settled on the small offshoot of the Kiaji river that leads down to Port Wassa and up to Koharii. Oaken Stream's lifeblood relies on this offshoot of the Kiaji, which provides plentiful hunting, fishing, commuting and trade to all major towns and cities in the area. The town has garnered a decent amount of trade and commerece for its area due to the lumber companies in the area.

The town has divided itself into four main sections: Southside, the south-west settlement of the river, which is sparser populated, aged, traditional, yet prosperous. Northside, the north-east settlement of the river, which has brought in more residents over the more recent years. North of both, on the west side of the river, is the lumber processing district, and Southeast, the Overgrown, also known as "Old Oaken", the spot where the original settlement had been made, but ultimately, was moved due to an enlarging sinkhole.

The town has a more traditional way of commerce and trade when it comes to food specifically. Residents of the area can apply for Hunting licenses, which grants them the ability to freely hunt and fish within the area, but also to sell their catches to local vendors, who process and sell it for a processing upcharge. The same principal goes for vegatables, fruits, herbs and flowering plants, although, the selling of those does not require a license.
The town, as is common Qerenian way, as well as law enforcement, has Eco-rangers, of which are trained in the appriasal of the land, and making sure there is no overhunting or fishing happening, and the land remains sustainable.
Oaken Stream gets their energy from the nearby water plant in Lakeview.
