"Um, yeah, anyways…" Val says, turning away from Nori.

Auretta presses her fingers against each other. “So…”

Nori snaps. “Yeah. Let’s start heading toward… wherever we’re going.” He stuffs his hands in his pockets, pressing his lips together

Val looks at Auretta, her face turning a rosey pink color. "I don't want a word out of you, kid. Not a word." She turns away, then starts running, not even bothering with flying.

Auretta nods. “Yes, m’am-“

Nori shakes his head, walking over to Auretta. “You can talk now. I think the mean lady’s gone.” He laughs

Auretta sighs. “I’m sorry…” she mumbles.

Nori rolls his eyes. “Don’t be. She’s just been kind of… weird around me.” He shakes his head. “I-I dunno.”

(This is how Val works off emotions that she can't deal with: makes stuff go boom with light.)

In the distance, mountains start exploding.

Eventually, stuff stops exploding and Val sprints back. "Sorry… just had to go work some stuff out." She looks vaguely embarrased.

Nori raises an eyebrow, genuinely concerned. “Uhhhh”

Behind Val, one more mountain explodes. "Sorry. That one was on accident." She looks flustered now.

Nori shakes his head. “My god, you could’ve hurt someone!! Just… punch a wall or scream into a pillow or do something normal.”

Auretta’s eyes were wide. “I-“

"If I were to punch a wall, I'd shatter the wall and my hand. If I were to scream, I would destroy my voice, not to mention the pillow. And besides, the mountains were pretty much vaporized." Val replies. And you don't even react normally, either. "Nobody could've been hurt."

Nori rolls his eyes, crossing his arms. “Just… don’t do stupid stuff like that.” He looks back at Auretta. “You good?”

Auretta nods. “Yeah…Yeah, I’m okay…”

Val tilts her head to one side and looks at Nori, confused. She doesn't respond.

Nori half smiles, then puts his hands on his hips. “Well, where to next?”

Auretta shrugs. “No idea…” she mutters, looking around.

Val sighs. "We have discovered all the physical parts of our past. I have nothing further for us to find."

Nori grins. “Sick. Let’s go do something then”

Val looks at Nori questioningly. "Like what?"

Nori burts out laughing. “Like your mom!!”

Auretta bursts out laughing. “Oh my god-“

Val snorts. "Or maybe I could go do your mom."

Nori scowls. “Leave my mother out of this.” He starts laughing again

Auretta sighs. “As long as it isn’t my mom-“

"Then leave my mother out of this." Val snorts, looking at Nori for a moment then turning to Auretta. "Nah, I'd never do your mother like that."

“No one likes my mother other than my father-“ Auretta laughs.
