Val looks at Auretta. OH SHIT- she thinks before literally teleporting over and wrapping her in a hug.

Nori starts shouting, crossing his arms tightly. “I don’t know!! I don’t know. I-“ he backs into a tree, slumping to the ground “I’m really sorry.”

Val turns quickly, startled by the shout. "I should be apologizing here, not you."

Nori folds his knees up to his chest, resting his head in his hands. “No I should… I’m just…” he sighs. “You really feel that way?”

Auretta hugs Val tightly. “G-Guys…” she chokes out, hating that this was happening. Not the love part, she likes that. It was the confusion she hates.

"Hey, Auretta, it'll be fine, okay? Just… just wait, okay?" Val says, walking over to Nori. "Yes, I really do feel that way. I love you, but I'm not a person you should love back. You and Lukas have a much brighter future than me and you do."

Nori shakes his head. “God dammit, I… I don’t know anymore. Luke and I… I don’t know what’s going on between us. I just don’t know.”

Auretta continues crying. She was extremely confused as well. “G-Guys…” she mumbles.

Val turns away from Nori, sighing. "I'm sorry, Auretta…" She hugs Auretta again.

Auretta hugs back, sniffling into Val’s shoulder. “I-I’m so confused-I don’t want you guys to fight-“

"I promise, we won't be for very long, Auretta…" Val murmurs, rubbing Auretta's back.

“O-Okay-“ Auretta whimpers, clinging to Val.

Nori watches Auretta and starts developing tears himself. “I-I’m sorry. I don’t want to fight. I’m so sorry Auretta.” He leaned back against the tree, gazing into the sky. Hugging people wasn’t really his thing, so he thought it might be best to give them space.

Val glances at Nori, giving him a look that says, "Get over here now and hug her."

Nori sighs, getting up as he flaps his wings, then hugs Auretta. “I’m sorry”

Val nods, then wraps an arm around Nori as well, telepathically telling him I won't try anything, if you don't like me like that. I'm honestly fine with being just a friend.

Auretta hugs them both tightly. “I-I don’t want you guys to be upset-“

"I don't think that will be an issue here soon, one way or another, Auretta." Val whispers.

Nori stays quiet, rubbing Auretta’s back. He finally sighs and answers Val. Im really really sorry. You’re so nice, and so pretty, but I just… he closes his eyes. I just don’t really feel that way. I’m so sorry.

Okay, Nori. I understand. she says gently, sending him a mental image of a soft smile.

Nori shakes his head, giving them both a squeeze. Im really sorry. I really am

It is okay, Nori. she repeats, squeezing him tighter in return.

Auretta soon stops crying. “….Thanks, guys…” she mumbles.

"You're welcome, Auretta." Val says, releasing Auretta from the hug. "You good now?"

Auretta nods. “Y-Yeah…” she mumbles before wincing a bit.

Val notices the wince. "What's wrong?"

“I-I don’t know-“ Auretta manages to say before wincing again.

Nori steps back, holding his arms. He looks timidly at Auretta

Auretta presses her hand to her head, shutting her eyes tightly. “Mm…”

Nori quickly rushes to Auretta's side, catching her and helping her to the ground. "Please, what's wrong??"
