Hi people. Wanna do a Marauders Era Rp? (CLOSED)
"Oh right." Cornelius scratched his head. "That was silly of me."
“Silly you indeed. Did you even finish the homework?”
"I think so…"
“Go check.” Asteria instructed.
Cornelius tucked the book under his arm and opened the folder with one hand. "Yyyyyyyyep! I did!"
(Wait I thought this was the first day of school and first years literally are just seeing the common room how does corn boi have homework)
(He's a 4th year)
“Congrats.” Asteria grinned.
"Sorry." Melanthea apologized to Jay, "Everyone here is pretty weird. Do you parents not approve of candy or something?"
(I know but there's still not classes the first day??)
"Um…" Jay hesitated for a moment. "I guess you could say that… I-I've never seen anything remotely like candy anywhere in our house.."
"No way, we're the definition of normal," Mari says, sarcastically rolling her eyes.
(idk man I wasn't here for the whole thing)
Jay stood nervously, hoping that his comment hadn't given too much away. Next you're gonna be telling them about all the alcohol… No I wont! I'm… I don't know…
"Yeah," Melanthea nods, "My friend Linos's parents are like that with soda. It must suck."
"Well, it's not the worst thing they-" Stop right there! "I-I mean, it's not the worst thing in the world!" He said hurriedly. "Um, I've… heard it's not very healthy…?"
"Well, if you eat it every day, it's unhealthy! Melanthea says.
(They get hw over summer, remember?)
(Oh, yeah)
Jay shrugged, his heart pounding. She didn't notice, did she?
Melanthea was worried about this Jay boy. He was really pale and thin. And he looked so…nervous. "Hey, whats that on your cheek?" She asks, noticing a bit of purple and yellow coloring on his face.
(Gtg)
(Awww bye Hawk)
Well, guess I'm screwed. Jay froze, suddenly aware of the fact that he hadn't covered the bruise. His heart felt like it would beat out of his chest."It's… I-I… um… it's j-just a bruise, nothing to worry about…"
(Chameleon where did thine go)
(Sorry, I was watching Britains got talent.)
"What happened?" Melanthea continues to ask, "Did you run into a wall or something? How did you manage to get a bruise on your face?"
Jay didn't respond, as he had no idea how to. Oh, yeah, my parents smacked me across the face before I left, that's normal, right? He thought with some bitterness. Of course he couldn't tell her, but it looked like he was about to be forced to.
"Do you want to…go somewhere private?" Melanthea asked, seeing his discomfort.
He hesitated again before nodding slightly in resignation. I don't appear to have much choice…
(Gtg for like, half an hour. I'll try to be back asap)
(I'm back)
(Ready to deal with emotional abused boi?)
