“No take backs.” He grinned at Lydia, the leftover tension from earlier leaving his shoulders.

He's a bitch, I've planned more drama.//

(Well we’re all in the dining pavilion when he’s ready to start, unless he’s planning on wrecking Trent’s performance at the campfire)

@Hawkeye

Lydia smiled. She moved slightly closer to Trent without really thinking about it.

Trenton looked back over at Sam and Ophelia. “What were you both up to today? The morning was rather… eventful.”

(I’m worried for him already)

@Hawkeye

Lydia stifled a sarcastic laugh.
“I Had archery practice with the Apollo cabin!” Sam told him.

@croccin-champagne

"Training. Obviously I seem to have missed something."

Trenton smiled at Sam. “You can do archery? Very impressive. I’m afraid I’m much better at tying bows than stringing them.”

@Hawkeye

Sam smiled. “Archery’s fun!”

“You missed quite a lot.” Trent added to Ophelia. “I take it you didn’t hear the gunshots?”

@croccin-champagne

"Too far in the forrest, probably. What happened?"

@Hawkeye

“Trent, come on, we don’t need to talk about it.” Lydia said quietly.

@croccin-champagne

Ophelia glanced at Lydia for a second before shrugging. "Actually, never mind. Not like I could go back and fix it."

“She should know.” Trent deadpanned, but the boy was already showing signs of increasing anxiety at the mention of it.

@Hawkeye

“No.” Lydia replied shortly, feeling her own pulse quicken.

Trent sighed and fell silent, giving Ophelia and apologetic look.

@croccin-champagne

She shrugged in an effort to let him know it was fine.

Trent nodded, relieved Ophelia was willing to let it drop. He wasn’t sure what to say next, so he tried to change the topic. “Any song recommendations for tonight?”

@Hawkeye

Sam began to say something but Lydia shook her head and said, “Absolutely not. We banned that song, remember?” And then turning to the other two, “Don’t ask.”

@croccin-champagne

Ophelia raised an eyebrow before answering Trent. "Nothing you would either know, be into, or be willing to do."

“Well that was helpful.” Trent smiled, rolling his eyes. “Good to know I can count y’all if I ever need to make a decision.”

@Hawkeye

“That’s what we’re here for.” Lydia said.

@croccin-champagne

"You have to have some sort of ideas in your head. Maybe we can just help narrow it down."

Trent’s cheeks flushed pink. “I didn’t think about it too much. I don’t know much about popular music… I uh… I listen to country mostly.”

@croccin-champagne

"So do that. You aren't just playing for others, you're playing for yourself, too." She stated matter of factly.

@Hawkeye

Lydia smiled, as the other girl had almost taken the words out of her mouth.

Trent’s face went from pink to red. “Well, yes, I suppose so, but… but there will be quite a large audience. I highly doubt they’ll know anything I play. It is a singalong usually…” He trailed off, awkwardly rubbing his arm.

@croccin-champagne

"How long until the campfire?" The wheels were turning in her head, cycling through ideas.

“It’s almost 2 now, and the campfire starts around 7, right after dinner ends.” Trent explained.
