" yeah common." He said as he unlocked the door.

Kokichi follows Shuichi inside. "Huh, not a bad place you've got. Now where is Kaito?"

" bedroom," he said as he picked up shadow " I'm going to start cooking. " He said

"Aww, your cat's adorable." He smiled a bit. "I'm gonna go check up on Kaito, if that's okay."

" thank you and yes it is," he said and went to the kitchen

Kokichi walked into the bedroom into the bedroom. "Hey, Kai-" He was cut off by what what he saw, immediately rushing out of the bedroom and back into the kitchen. "Shuichi…! I think there's a problem…!" He seemed a bit worried. "Your boyfriend might be unconscious, on the ground, and a bit of blood may or may not be on his face…"

Shuchi dropped his pan and ran to the bedroom. " Kai!" He yelped

Kokichi followed Shuichi into the bedroom, the scene being exactly as he had described it..

Shuchi picked up kaito. " Hospital, call an ambulance!" He yelled out.

"I'm on it…!" Kokichi grabbed his phone, immediately calling for an ambulance, trying his hardest to remain calm..

Shucji couldn't wait, tears streaming down his face and onto Kaitos

Kokichi sighed as he put his phone away. "It should only be about three minutes.. Just wait a minute.." He placed a hand on the other's shoulder. "I'm scared, too, but I think we got here right after it happened.. I don't think it's too late to save him.."

Dhuihi couldnt help but sob " I left him alone! I.. I abandoned him when he needed me most!"

"Actually, the blood seems to be fresh.. It has yet to dry.. I think this happened around the same time we walked inside.."

Shuichi looked up, " are they here yet?"

The sound of sirens grew louder with each passing second, the ambulance pulling up only seconds later, answering Shuichi's question..

Shuchi brought his partner out " help him! Please!"

Kaito was immediately helped as soon as he was seen. The atmosphere was rather tense, no one knowing just how things would end up.. It wasn't long before they were transporting Kaito to the nearest hospital.

Shuichi sat crying.

Kokichi hugged him tightly. "Let's go back inside.. I'll go make some food, and you can go cry in peace.."

Shuichi held onto kokichi to be carried. His chest hurt so bad.

Kokichi picked Shuichi up, carrying him back inside. He placed the other on the couch in the living room before walking into the kitchen. "What do you want? I'll make anything.."

" p..please. Anything you want." He said softly.

"Okay then.." He sighed and began making something..

Shuichi brough his knees to his chest and cried.

As soon as Kokichi finished the food, he brought it out to Shuichi before sitting next to him. "Just let it all out, Shu…"

Shuichi eventually stoped crying while eating. " I'm sorry.."

"Why are you sorry…?" Kokichi was a bit confused. "There's nothing to be sorry about…"

" I'm sorry for crying so much, and you having to do things you shouldn't"

"Shuichi, you're experiencing normal emotions… It's okay to cry… Also, I don't mind at all… You're my best friend…"
