Dom's taken to making up faces and then clarifying that they're faces
It was quite entertaining to watch the aftermath of such

People that complain all the time about having to wear a mask bug the shit out of me. Maybe it's hard to breathe because your head is up your ass, huh? Try that. Maybe understand that it's supposed to help? If you don't want to wear a mask, don't go somewhere that requires you to. You're 16, you have two parents and several siblings, you have no reason to leave the house or go shopping. So don't.

going to politely debate because i'm bored
It's hard to breathe because something is right against your nose and mouth, restricting oxygen as it is, and it's hot out, making it even harder. Doctors that do surgery and wear surgical masks for hours on end? It's easier to breathe in them because the rooms are cold, not 80-some degrees out with humidity. There are almost no stores where I live that don't require masks, so how are we supposed to get food to feed four people? Online stores have jack shit available, and they take fucking forever to deliver. None of us are happy about needing to shop in stores and dealing with the people there. It was never a vacation before the quarantine, and now it's just made even more nerve-grating because of how irritable people are.
I did, in fact, have to accompany my parents and sister to go shopping. And I did, in fact, have to get out of the house cause I'm going nuts just sitting here and doing nothing. I might not outwardly whine about wearing masks when I can't see or breathe—add the oxygen restriction to allergies and you get a real fun time—but I don't really care for the glares or sneers or jabs at me or my family when we decide to pull off the masks for a little bit to get some air.
It's not that hot here. A lot of stores here aren't actually requiring you to wear a mask anymore. They also do pick-up and deliveries so you don't actually have to go shopping. This sixteen year old whiny bitch face constantly complains about having to wear a mask when she does nothing for her family anyways so she's definitely not going shopping with them for food, and has absolutely no reason to go out in public. She has a backyard and a hella nice neighborhood to go on a walk in if she needs out that badly. I'm sick of her complaining to us about it and how they aren't necessary and how it's "literally the flu", and that nothing should be cancelled. If she doesn't want to wear a mask, maybe she should hold off on all her makeup runs.
Sure it sucks I guess, but if all you're going to do about it is complain, don't leave.
kayla, babe, you know i love you but imma have to disagree here.
yeah okay, masks are uncomfy. and sure, sometimes the fabric smells like shit and its harder to breathe. but it's just something to deal with when some of us have family who are immune-compromised. my little sister has asthma, and the mono she had a while back makes it so that her immune system is like, absolute shit. my dad is taking immuno-suppresents for his crone's disease, and he works a job that exposes him to plenty of people because he's an essential worker.
some of us can't afford to take of our masks or not wear them. sure, if i'm in an aisle with no people and i need a sec, i'll lower the mask. and then i'll put it right back on because if i caught anything at all, i might be fine. but my family might not. some people have older family living with them, and people with immune disorders too. is it really that worth spreading a life-threatening virus just to make breathing easier? like yeah, what are the chances of it being where you are. but the chance could always be there because of those people who are just entirely refusing to wear masks at all, and aren't following the six foot rule.
also like, totally get that you have glasses and it make 'em foggy. i just. some of us kind of have to wear them to keep our family alive so. but like if you're off to the side and it's so bad you can't see pls do de-fog and give yourself a sec cause you not seeing could also cause problems, you clumsy loser(ily)

I have a shit governor that is on a power trip so things are all wonky and stuff here
I understand that people are living with people that have compromised immune systems and have a higher risk of being more affected by the virus than others. I'm not saying that everyone has to not wear a mask and suck it up. I'm just saying that it's a two-way street. People have different views on this thing, and the people like me that aren't too fond of the mask and quarantine rules aren't the only ones whining and complaining about the other party.
The masks aren't going to stop the virus right then and there, that's just facts. It's an airborne virus and therefore can filter through the cracks the masks leave and go through your eyes. It spreads freely and just floats around all willy-nilly because that's what airborne things do. But I do understand the precautions that are being taken by those that are at a higher risk. I try to stay as far away from people as possible I did that even before all this because people and I wear the mask when I can stand it. I can't exactly speak for everybody, but I do understand and do try to an extent.
I'm sick of the people that make a huge deal out of it when a small portion of people aren't wearing masks or aren't following the lane directions in stores. Make it seem like the end of the world is happening. Again, it's not just one side that are being douchebags.
I'm hella tired already
Imma be heading to bed pretty quick (I think)
Fill me in on anything I miss
dfghdfg like damn near no one here uses masks. like istg my family are part of a group of maybe thirty people in the whole area that wear them. walmart? two masks, then the ones employees have to wear. freddie's? a few more but that's cause the people who shop there are a lot different from the people who shop at walmart. i kind of hate that the majority don't wear them here, because of course, i'm worried about my family, but i get what you mean with the like 'oh my god TWO people weren't wearing masks even though they didn't even come within twenty feet of me' people
for some CrAzY reason I feel like you’re ranting about yourself Pickles

Lotta people here wear masks, but that's because you can't go anywhere without needing a mask due to Wolf making an executive order that it's mandatory, then contradicting himself and saying that it's suggested, and the people that insist that it's the law to wear a mask.
'oh my god TWO people weren't wearing masks even though they didn't even come within twenty feet of me' people
*cough*mro*cough*
hdfhdfhj rip mr o. like. it's a gas station, i'd be willing to bet half the people even in there had like just realized they needed something super quick and didn't expect to need their mask. and if the people are staying away from you then you're about as safe as wearing a mask three feet from someone

ig there are businesses here refusing people if they aren't wearing a mask. heard about one dude that was just trying to get something real quick from sheetz, they refused him, and they irritated him so much that they called the cops because he was pissed. he pointed out that, by this time, he could've had his stuff and been gone had they left him alone

We do delivery anyways
My mom tried delivery. Didn't have three-quarters of what we needed, so she said screw it and went to the store

they're trying to follow medical guidelines and protect people though?? it's not that hard to respect places that request you wear masks and this is one of fairly few instances where it's logical and fair for businesses to use their right to deny service to anyone.

Ours has been messed up at least a little every time, but my parents are making do with all the broccoli they keep giving us
I, on the other hand, want to cry every time we have a meal together because I can't stand broccoli

- It's not a law and it's been said that masks are a suggestion by the governor, and if you have a medical condition that is compromised by wearing a mask, you don't have to wear one
- They could've handled it better than how they did
- I'm just pointing out something that's going on in my state

^^^^ obviously it’s annoying to be judged, have people openly disrespect you for not wearing a mask, and sure a mask can be uncomfortable, but I wouldn’t value my discomfort over a deadly health risk to someone else
