"He's been in pain since midnight, but nothing is hurting him! And he keeps muttering in a language I can't understand, the only word I could make out was a variation of Luminescence." said Marceo.
"Luminescence….." Skye trailed off in thought.
"Luminero!!" Rio shouted, "Something bad must've happened back home and Firiko can sense it!"
(Is megan coming back anytime soon?)
(Oof lol yeah– she got in a twaffic jamm.. :3)
Tobias was about to take off running – despising what he was told – when Megan pulled into the driveway, leaping out the driver's door. "What on earth is going on here!?" She barked, coming around to the other side of her car.
"This rat nearly electrocuted Tobias" said Skye, "And he needs to let Firiko go, NOW"
"Well standing here in front of my house isn't going to solve anything!" She barked.
Tobias wanted to do it so bad – everyone was yelling at each other and all he wanted to do was get inside so he could do his school work.
Yet as a last resort, Tobias bolted, faster than a blink of an eye he was gone down the street.
"Tobias!!!" Megan screamed.
Skye shifted and was after him like a shot. Quickly getting in front of the kid he shifted again and wrapped him in a hug. "Shh.. It's gonna be ok…" he picked Tobias up and began jogging back to Megan. "Rio get that jerk inside, make sure he's unarmed."
Rio responded by soaking the guy, then using his water to pull out a dagger, before heading inside into the kitchen. As he was heading in, "Don't worry about Tobias, he's just had a bad day is all"

Tobias screwed his eyes shut and clung to Skye. "Don't bring me back," He muttered, voice muffled. "I don't want to go back." Tears began to leak from his eyes slowly down his face.
Megan sighed, rubbing her face with her hand. "And how was I supposed to know this was gonna happen….?"
"You weren't" said Skye, "Ironic thing is he came to tell us that he needs help with Firiko" he said. "Tobias should be alright he's just scared. Believe me he isn't the first kid I've seen do this" he said thinking of Firiko's brother when he was a kid.
When he got inside with Tobias he set Tobias down on the couch with a reassuring smile before turning grim on Marceo. "Is Firiko still at your lair?" Asked Skye.
Megan followed them inside and she sat next to Tobias, bringing into a hug. He didn't really feel like Marceo should even be therw in the first place. "Just tell him to leave them alone and return them back," He muttered, on the verge of tears. I don't want him here anymore…. I don't care what his intentions are… Just… Get… Him… Out…
"yes he is" said Marceo with a growl.
"You have to let him go" said Skye firmly.
"Never"
"You have to you idiot!" said Rio.
"I won't let you take him, I need him for my research!" protested Marceo.
Skye noticed Tobias looked upset, and motioned for Rio to take Marceo out back. Rio did as he asked and Skye knelt beside Tobias. "You ok kid?"
Megan shugged. "He's just really upset right now…. He isn't really exposed to this kind of conflict, if you know what I mean." Tobias curled up in a ball, huddling closer to her open arms.
Just then there was a doorbell ring. "You can let him in. My dad was coming over to help rebond with Tobias, but… I'm not sure if this is a good time to be at my house."
"Yeah.. Can we trust him? With the truth about us?" Asked Skye nervously, Knowing things might get messy as long as Marceo was there.
Rio was outside with Marceo, glaring at him.
"If you can trust me, you may as well trust him too." Megan said, comforting Tobias in her arms.
There was another doorbell ring and a shout, "I know you're home, Megan!"
Skye hurried to the door, Hiding his blade as he did so. Opening it he put on a nice face. "Hi, sorry for the wait, we were just having some slight issues…." he said sheepishly. "Please come in,"
Steve came in, and his heart nearly stopped when he saw Tobias curled up like that. "Oh dear!" He exclaimed, " Is he alright???"
Megan sighed, continuing to comfort the boy. "He's had quite a stressful day… Would… Would it be alright if he stayed at your place?"
Suddenly there was a crash out back. "Rio!" Skye ran for the back door, seeing Rio pinned by his own blade under a fire spell. "Let him go! You'll hurt him!" Skye ran out in alarm.
"I know about your powers now use them to fix your friend!" Growled Marceo.
"I can't!" said Skye, watching as Rio tried to hold in his cries of pain from the presence of the flames.
"Why not?!"
"His problems have to do with something happening to his twin brother back home!" Said Skye, "There's no way to fix it except to let him go!"
There was a loud noise, and Tobias winced. "It might be best if I take him…" Steve took his stuff and the kid in his own arms. "I'll be careful with him."
Megan nodded. "I'll see you tomorrow."
He went out the door and put the kid in his car. "Don't worry, you're gonna stay at my place tonight. Megan's gonna sort things out with them and hopefully it won't be too long before you can return."
Tobias nodded, but he said nothing. What will happen to Skye and Rio? And Firiko? Where did he even go???
Marceo pressed the flames closer to Rio, Rio couldn't help but cry out this time.
"Let him go!" Said Skye starting to panic, He isn't using magic… but if I don't do something he'll kill Rio! he tried to figure out a plan, But if I do do something I could hurt Marceo…. or someone else!
"Please… Just let Rio go before you seriously injure him!" he said.
"Not until you fix your friend." said Marceo.
"I can't fix him!" Said Skye helplessly. "There's nothing wrong with him!"
Firiko screamed, he knew he had to go. but that Marceo creep had unknowingly blocked his powers. He felt Luma's pain surge through him once more. And Shiara's summonings pull at him desperately. I'm sorry… he felt tears roll down his face. I can't get to you right now…
Steve took Tobias off to his apartment in the city, and when they got there, Tobias was a bit surprised to see that the place was much roomier than he thought. "Make yourself at home. Megan and I thought it was best for you to stay here overnight since something's happening down there…"
"Alright…" He said quietly, sitting himself on the couch. The place had a nice, comfy cozy vibe, and he liked it – the dark walls, the soft carpet, the soft glow of a lamp light. But I really hope they're okay….
Skye focused on Rio, Then summoned his aura, suddenly Rio was lying next to him but Marceo had been blown across the yard and was lying against the wall.
Skye quickly cast a binding spell helping Rio to his feet. Rio summoned his water and wrapped himself in it. gasping as the burn marks healed.
Skye looked around for Megan, "Rio go find Megan, make sure she's alright."
(Megan's just sitting in the living room, lol)
Steve came back with a cup of his favorite juice. "I'm sure you're hungry too, right?"
Tobias took it and grinned a little. "I guess…"
"What do you want to eat? It is nearing dinner time anyways."
"Anything," Tobias said absentmindedly. "Anything will do."
Rio went inside and found Megan on the couch. "Where's Tobias?" he asked, his voice a little shaky.
Skye glared at Marceo. "We are going to your lair and setting Firiko free"
"You can't get him loose unless you have a roboticist." said Marceo. "Rio I think we might need Megan's help"
Rio froze for a moment, "Skye says we might need your help to get Firiko" he added.
"Alright then…" Megan paused for a moment. "And Tobias went to Steve's place for the night to help him destress from Marceo…" She stood up to her feet. He really needs to stay away… It'll only help him more to keep away from Marceo and the whole issue…
"Right, Probably best he doesn't see Firiko right now anyway" said Rio leading her outside to where Skye had Marceo bound and floating in the air.
"Good you're not hurt" he growled still focused on Marceo. Suddenly he summoned more aura magic, creating a vortex behind him. "We're going by portal this time, and we should hurry" he said.
Firiko hung in tears, wanting to go but unable to as he felt his sisters desperation grow. I'm sorry… he thought sadly as Luma's agony shot through him once more. He didn't scream that time, holding it in as tears of pain ran down his face.
Megan followed Rio outside, and she saw Marceo just kind of floating in the air. Just let them go… She grumbled, shaking her head.
Steve made some food for the two of them and Tobias was quite happy after having something solid put in his stomach.
A little while afterwards, he got his work done and watched some TV with Steve.
"I'm sorry I couldn't make it to pick you up from school today – I got held up at work. Were you able to get home okay?"
"Yeah," Tobias said quietly. "Skye and Rio were able to get me… Home…."
Skye nodded to the portal, "I can't keep it open forever" he said shoving Marceo through, Rio hopped through after. "You coming Megan?" he asked relaxing a little,
"I guess I'm coming…" Megan stepped on through along with everyone else. I hope Tobias is alright staying over there… He can't really be around while I'm doing stuff like this anyways…
jumping through and letting it close he looked up to a tear stricken Firiko, "We're getting you down ok?" He said knowing the kid was in pain.
"Megan can you work the controls to release him?" Asked Skye, summoning his Aura again, this time surrounding Firiko with a powerful shield. Firiko sighed as his body relaxed, "Thank you Skye…" he said weakly..
(And Marceo just disappeared?)
Megan nodded. "I can try…." She went to the control panel and opened it up, using her tiny tools to get to work. Don't hurt me I'm just here….
(Marceo is being watched by Rio)
"You'll never get him loose!" sneered Marceo
"yes we will!" Said Skye, "I'll tear it down if I have to!"
Megan was working around when she was suddenly terribly shocked. She let out a scream as her hand stung, and she fell back. I seriously shouldn't have to do this!!!
