Rio came over to her, "Are you ok?" he asked, his eyes filled with concern.
Marceo laughed, "I see you found my safeguards" he said. Skye shot him a glare, "Watch it, or I'll make you regret it."
Megan didn't answer – she was too busy writhing about in pain of her hands and wrists to get back up. That damned Marceo… She screwed her eyes shut. With that in the way, I can't free Firiko!
Skye tried to think of a way to help her when his amulet suddenly flashed. A black and red streak appeared in his hair and suddenly his shield collapsed. Firiko felt an onrush of sheer agony and couldn't help but scream.
Rio looked at Firiko worriedly, "Is there anything we might be able to do to help?" he asked, ignoring the fact that Skye was cursing in frustration.
Megan just sat there, her hands tingling like crazy. As long as her hands were like that, she couldn't work on releasing Firiko. I'm sorry…..
"All right screw it, I don't care if it hurts her" said Skye grasping his amulet, "Wolf's bond! Solaris!" His hair gained a bright red streak as he summoned a fire aura. Coming over to Megan he grasped her had, letting the flames cool into a healing Aura. after a few moments he let the fire go, clearly exhausted.
Megan realized what Skye had tried to do, but she didn't feel anything. Oh dear…. "I can't feel my hands…." She said bluntly, standing up.
Skye let the fire Aura come back, once more, then fell to one knee, as hie energy drained. "Give it a minute" said Skye shakily. standing up again. Marceo watched intently as Firiko tried to keep from crying out again.
Megan tried clenching her hands into fists, but they just hung lifelessly off her wrists. "I…. I don't think it's working….." Please….
Skye frowned, Then grasped his amulet again, "Lunas" and tried the healing spell once more.
"That had to work, it always does" he said,
Rio nodded, "And you should stop doing that,"
"We need to get Firiko out of there, now. Otherwise the others are in big trouble, and he might be too cause the others are trying to summon him." said Skye.
Rio paled a little as Firiko contained another yelp.
Megan went back to work on trying to get past that thing (lol) when she got shocked again.
She gave up and grabbed the wires, pulling all of them out of the panel before falling back unconscious.
"Megan!" Skye quickly felt her pulse, checking that she was alive. Rio searched for any gaps in the mechanism, but Firiko was still stuck.
Rio swore. And he kicked the machine. "Skye we need a better way to do this," he said kneeling beside megan and surrounding her in his weaker, but more effective healing aura.
Marceo laughed, Skye lost it. He shoved Marceo up against a wall shifting and digging his claws in just enough so he could feel it. "You're done!" he yelled his Aura swirling as he growled. Shoving Marceo to the ground he kicked him then punched the wall. Taking deep breaths he focused on calming down.
(Oof wow.)
Megan was still out when Rio and Skye tried to help her.
….M….. M….. My……. My….. My hand….. My fingers……
(Eh.. You make it quite annoyingly tricky when you have Megan get electrocuted….)
Skye sighed, Summoning his aura the silver and red streaks became more prominent as he summoned a mixture of the Luna and Solaris auras to help with Megan.
(Well yeah.)
Megan merely woke up, and sat up. "What happened….?" She rubbed at her head with one hand, but the other was completely numb. Why? She wasn't so sure. But she thought there'd be no way to work with only one hand.
(Quit it with the numb hands! XD)
"You got yourself shocked trying to get Firiko down from there but it didn't work." Said Skye, as he foucused the auras on her hands, boosting their strength with his own.
(Everything can't be perfect, ya???)
Megan did her best anyways, and she got small shocks every now and then, but she tried to ignore it as she worked immensely hard at the thing.
In no time, the chamber or whatever he's in opened up to reveal Firiko.
Firiko dropped down, barely able to stick the landing. Getting shakily to his feet he started to summon his own auras. A mixture of Golden, Silver, and violet auras began to swirl and create a vortex. Firiko gasped in pain, clutching his right fore arm as his aura's vanished, and a blue light surrounded him, causing him to vanish.
"Where did he go?!" Demanded Marceo, "I thought it was too dangerous for you to try and return to your world on your own!"

Megan's breathing became heavy, and she slumped back. Please no more… I may be careful but another mistake like that and I might be paralyzed….
Rio knelt next to Megan, "Thank you," he said gently, "Are you sure you're alright?"
Megan sat up weakly. "I think so…" She felt at her hands, and the one was still tingly, but she could at least still feel it. "But… I really need to get back home…. I know it's nice to help you out, but… A few more shocks like that and… Well… I can only take so many risks…" I'm sorry, but I ain't immortal…
"right," said Skye, "We'll figure out how to get home later.."
Rio nodded and opened the portal, ignoring Marceo's demands of release he stepped halfway through, and Skye followed.

Megan returned back to her house, and she headed into the family room to lay down. "As much as I like helping, this extensive working really wears me out…" She glanced at her darkened hands where she was shocked. "I can do only so much at a time…."
"I know" said Skye, letting his knees buckle as he flopped to the floor. "There's only so much we can do as well… But we are grateful for all the help. And you probably just saved lives by getting Firiko out." he said weakly,
"I tried…." She let out a heavy sigh. "And I guess I did if you think of it that way…." Megan glanced at the clock and realized she had to eat. …. Everyone knows they don't want to cook when they feel like this… She reached for the phone on the end table and called for pizza.

Skye just relaxed on the floor, Making sure to shield his own mind as he did so. Rio flopped in the chair across from Megan, "Seriously though, you m'lady, are a life saver!"
"Oh… Puh-lease…." Megan said tiredly, wiping a hand over her forehead. "All I did was tear out wires…." And a few other things, but I'm no doctor…
"You got Firiko out" countered Rio, "And with what was happening that was huge"
"I suppose…" She muttered, closing her eyes for a little bit. Ugh…. Why is life just so exhausting….?
Sooner or later, there was a knock on the door, and she got the pizza, setting it down on thw living room coffee table. "Eat up if you want. I just need to have something…."
