Skye held a hand up, "Pass me some of whatever is will ya Rio?" he asked tiredly.
Rio complied by dropping one on his friends chest.
"That was my good shirt!" Protested Skye, munching on the pizza slice without complaint.
Megan rolled her eyes, eating up the slice. "You guys are really somethin'…." They really carry their own charisma and character to the table….. "Maybe I should call Steve and check on Tobias…"
"Be glad you don't have my younger brothers" said Skye through a mouthful of food.
"It might be a good idea," said Rio, ignoring Skye, "you can let him know that Firiko is ok"
"Yup…. Alright then…" She sat up a little and dialed up Steve.
Steve picked his phone up, being careful not to disturb Tobias. "Hello? Oh, hey Megan."
"Is Tobias doing alright???" She asked tentatively.
"Yeah," He whispered, "He fell asleep watching TV. I was just about to put him to bed when you called."
She smiled. "That's good… Just tell him in the morning – or whenever you can – that Firiko's okay. He'll know what it means."
"I see. I won't forget." He brushed a lock of the kid's hair back to reveal his face more clearly. "Thanks for calling, too."
"No problem. I'll see you tomorrow at work."
"Alright. Bye!" And he hung up.
"Good thing he showed up when he did" said Rio,
"Yeah, seeing Firiko like that might've scared him more than necessary…" said Skye.
"That's true…" Megan sat back, putting the phone on the receiver. "For more reasons than one am I glad he decided to straighten things out." She crossed her legs up on the couch and lied down to give her head a rest. Man… I bet he's worn out after what happened today.
Skye grabbed another slice of pizza, munching and thinking as he relaxed on the floor.
Megan sat up, heading upstairs to go and take a shower. Today was quite exhausting…. She scrubbed at the black marks on her hands, cleaning them off quite nicely but harshly. Maybe Skye and Rio should take a bath…. well… maybe just Skye if Rio is still having issues from when he was injured….
Skye soon flopped up, wandering outside as he did so. sitting down against the wall of the house he gripped his amulet and concentrated. He threw himself into the trance, I can't just wait to know what happened… cause Firiko wasn't the only one who could feel their calling…
Megan finished her show and came back downstairs in her pajamas, sitting herself down on the couch. "Just curious…." She started a bit quietly. "Where and why did Firiko disappear to?"
"Home" said Rio simply, "The others, his and Skye's family, needed him. He shares a special link with several people back home, his siblings for example, and they were all calling him back."
"I'm afraid to ask," She sucked a breath through her teeth. "But were they in trouble of some sort?" I really don't want that to be the case… But…. It is what it is.
"Probably" said Rio, "But knowing what I do about the entire lot of them they are probably okay, I'm more worried about Skye, since he's usually a key part of their team it's probably ripping him up that he wasn't there to help."
Megan frowned. "That isn't good…." We really need a way to get them back before too long. This is just hindering them, and I'm sure the ways of our world aren't helping them. Especially with Marceo. "Well…. I'm planning to go to bed soon. I'm not sure how long you are gonna stay up, if you are." She closed the pizza box and stuck it in the fridge.
Rio nodded, "Night Megan"
Megan headed on up, hesitantly passing by Tobias' room. I hope Dad will be able to walk Tobias to and from school tomorrow… Since he's not here…. She went into her room, closing the door behind her and going to bed.
The day was stressful, and she needed all the sleep she could get for the day ahead.

Rio was up early that morning, He had investigated the kitchen and found eggs, and a frying pan. Flipping the second egg he waited till Megan came downstairs.
I hope she won't be mad… But I can't do anything about Tobias today he shoved the worry out of his mind. Skye is a powerful, skilled warrior, he'll be alright till you find him

Megan came on downstairs, and saw that Rio was making breakfast for himself. "Good morning," She said half heartedly. She got herself some coffee and sat at the kitchen counter, letting out a prolonged sigh. "It's so different without Tobias here…." Hopefully he has him up by now.
Rio slid two of the eggs onto a plate and set it in front of Megan before turning around to crack a couple more in. Leaning back against the counter he sighed worriedly.
Megan lightly pushed the plate a little ways from her. "I assume you're still worried about Firiko…?" She asked tiredly, taking another sip. I don't blame him…. Yet didn't he even say himself that Firiko would be fine…?
"Not Firiko.." said Rio with a sigh, "It's Skye… he.. disappeared sometime last night."
Megan froze. "What???? Why would he go off like that?" Is something wrong….?
"I dont know why he left" said Rio. "I dont think it was because of you or Marceo.. but I have no idea what it could be.."
She cocked an eyebrow. "Don't you think we should go and find him regardless?" Megan finished up her coffee and put her mug in the sink. "Although I can't afford to take another day off from work…. I'm running outta vacation days…" She muttered, heading upstairs to get dressed.
"You dont have to worry about it…" said Rio. "I'll track him down even if it takes me all day. But I wont be able to walk Tobias home today…"
She halted in the doorway up the stairs. "I'm sure Steve'll walk him to and from school," Megan said, "With everything that went on yesterday, I think it's best if he stays over there for a few days…" She went up and got dressed before coming back down.
"Probably" said Rio. "I just wish I knew why Skye left…"
"Is there some kind of way to track him down, though? Or sense him?" Megan knew she wouldn't be a very big help in this case, but she had to throw something out there. I'm not sure what else to offer.
"I might be able to track his aura…" said Rio.. "but ultimately it will be a case of searching the city for him…."
(Now you're making things difficult, lol)
Megan grabbed all her stuff up from the counter. "Well…. Either way, I hope you have some good luck," She said, waving before she headed out the door. "I'll see you later!"
