(Oof.. not trying too… but anyway here's what Skye is up to!)
Skye sat down against the sunlit wall looking over the rooftops of the city. He had been out since first light, right after he had sensed that magical surge. I know I've sensed that aura before….. he thought. Confusion settling into his heart. but the source… it's impossible…
(Lol sure thing)
Steve got his own work material together as Tobias finished getting his backpack on his back. He was a bit content, but there was still something nagging him that morning. …I do miss them…
He told the kid to come along, and they headed down to where Steve's car was parked outside the complex. "Oh…. Tobias," Steve began, "Megan called me after you went to bed. She told me to tell you that Firiko's alright now."
A small grin grew on his face. "Well, that's good to hear." I've been quite worried….
Rio headed out the front door with Megan. "I should be back by dark." He said before heading off down the street. Letting his auras flow outward he began to search for any sign of Skye.
Steve had Tobias get in the front seat, and within a few minutes, they were off to school. "So, how are you feeling this morning?"
Tobias fiddled with his shirt hem a little while he was talking. "Better." Now that I know Firiko's okay… "But… I do miss him."
He smiled. "I'm sure he'll come back to see you sometime." I don't even think I've seen Firiko… Yet again, I talk about people I've never seen plenty of times.
Skye suddenly ran off again. Jumping to his feet and running off down the roof tops. He lept down the next alley and off down the street. It has to be her!
(Lol what the heck ever happened to that girl, cuz I know it ain't her lmao)
Steve arrived at the school, and he gave the boy a pat on the back. "I'll be picking you up after school today as well. Maybe we can pick up some icecream on the way home if you're up for it!"
Tobias smiled, heading out the car. "Bye D– er…. Um… Bye!" He waved to him, and he drove off to work. Why was I so hesitant to say "dad?"
(Uhmm… she vanished…. we just aren't going there… and no it aint her I'm pulling on another weird event…)
Rio sighed as he walked down the street. Where are you? he asked himself. I KNOW YOU'RE OUT THERE!!! he mentally yelled the words knowing that Skye, if he was mentally keeping tabs on him, would hear it. WHERE ARE YOU??

Tobias went to school as usual, and the day was going quite well. Surprisingly, he hasn't run into Marcus since the incident that happened yesterday, and he was curious if he was plotting some kind of revenge. I hope I don't have to deal with him again.
Skye tore down the street, dodging around people and weaving between alleys. I know that aura! I'm sure of it… he thought frantically his heart still filled with disbelief. But I don't understand how she could be here! He pressed on, relying on his auras to guide him as he tracked the presence. Soon he ended up in a denser part of town, filled with skyrises and streetlights. It wasn't long before he stopped against a wall to catch his breath. (Half wolves like Skye have a ton of stamina so the fact that he's out of breath should tell you quite a bit) "I.. just don't understand…" he said, his chest heaving "Why now…. after all these years…."
(Lol i have a weird feeling….)
The day went by easy, and school was out in no time. Tobias went out, and he saw Steve waiting there in his car.
He hurried on over and got in.
"So, how was your day?"
"Surprisingly simple." Tobias said. I haven't seen Marcus all day, nor has he deliberately come to hunt me down….
"How would you feel about a nice treat?"
Skye had been searching the city all day, and he still hadn't found the source of that aura he felt. It wasn't that the aura was strong, more that it's owner was important. He dashed down the streets once more, searching the backroad shops in a denser area. It was late afternoon and the streets were filled with people. He was constantly yelling apologies as he ran through, still searching for that aura. I have to find her! I just have to!
Rio sighed, "I've looked everywhere for you Skye, now where the hack are you?" Rio sighed again as he set off down the next crowded street.
(Unsure really what to do right now….)
Tobias and Steve went out to get some icecream together.
This'll be the best of both worlds, The man thought, smiling.
They both sat at a small table outdoors, and when Tobias had a taste, it was an awful mouthful of coldness. "Holy cow!" He yelped, his face souring.
Steve looked at him a bit sheepish. "Well, it's not called icecream for no reason…." I can't believe he hasn't had this before… I could've sworn he had some… "Anyways…. Anything fun happen at school today?"
"I didn't get sniped at," Tobias mumbled. And I do miss him a little…
Skye sighed, he was taking another break in an alleyway, trying to ignore the pain in his feet. He looked up to the sky and sighed, scaling the wall he looked out over the street. Suddenly, he saw something, a flash of aura. Skye's heart lept and he quickly warped towards it, running as fast as he could to see if the person he was looking for was there.
Rio jogged down the busy street. "Come on man… this isn't like you!" he said, trying to figure out where Skye could be.
Tobias silently licked at his icecream, wincing each time.
"What? You mean… Like…. Bullied?" He asked, a bit low.
"…Yeah," He said. "There's this kid, and he makes fun of my eye color. I don't know why my eyes are so green."
That's skimming… Steve sucked a breath through his teeth. "Well…. It's just something that hasn't happened in the family tree for a really long time," He said casually. "So it's no big deal… It makes you that much more special." He smiled.
"I suppose…" Tobias spaced out. Yet why do they still do it?
Skye finally got to the spot where he'd seen the flash, but there was no one there. but he did spy someone running along the rooftop a few meters away. Skye tore of after the figure, running as fast as he could in order to catch up.
(No offense but this is getting boring for me right now….. Just to have him keep running and running… Ugh…. Just saying…)
Steve watched Tobias as he glared off into nothingness. "I'm just glad Megan was able to keep you well, if you understand where I'm coming from."
The boy nodded. "Sure thing… I guess she'd do anything to help me out."
I remember back when she helped me build Tobias… He couldn't help but smile again. "She's a very good girl…" He said quietly. "I'd be very glad if we could…." Maybe let Tobias have a brother….
(Yeah I'm switching it up now)
Skyue finally saw a way to get in front of the figure, and he took it, shifting and running to his limit he skidded to a stop in front of the woman. The figure stopped, she was hooded, and wearing clothes that were obviously out of place for this world. Skye stood carefully, searching for any glimpse of this woman's face. the only piece of her face that was obvious were her brilliant green eyes. Skye watched her like a hawk studying any movement she made, the woman did the same.
Tobias finished with the cone and wiped his fingers on a napkin. "If you could….?" He trailed.
"Oh nothing – I'm just talking to myself. However, I do owe Megan a hefty apology and some gratitude for having her take care of you when I couldn't…"
"….But all these years you couldn't take care of me?" Tobias' brow furrowed, his head tipping.
"That's difficult to explain…" Steve said roughly. "I was having some family issues when I came down with some imparing condition…." But we still could've stayed together..
"You're half wolf" said the woman in a low voice, clearly not wanting to be identified, "A Nelvaron"
Skye nodded, almost scared to speak. He carefully pulled something out of his pocket. It was a silver necklace, with an emerald embedded in it.
The woman froze when she saw it, tears coming to her eyes as she gaped at Skye, recognition showing clearly.
Skye was about to say something, ask her where she'd been, why she was here, but suddenly she warped behind him and ran. Skye whipped around when she did, "Hey WAIT!" he cried starting after her.
(Emphasises awkwardness)
Tobias shrugged. "The past is the past, I guess."
Steve nodded. "Well, are you ready to head home?" The less he is focused on that, the better chance I can avoid telling him… But he will have to know… "You do need to finish your work, after all."
"Yeah…"
Steve headed over to his car and Tobias followed. I have no idea where they went, though…
They drove from the place over to Steve's apartment. They got inside, and Tobias sat in his 'room' to do his school work.
(trying to emphasize importance and mystery..)
Skye tore after the woman, knowing it was her, knowing he had to get answers, I can't let this chance slip away!!
The woman kept running, not sure how to process Skye's appearance. It must be a ghost.. an illusion… It's can't be him!
Skye shifted to wolf, not caring that he could be spotted. The woman suddenly shifted form too, shifting to the form of a large wildcat, pulling ahead of Skye.
(Tries to emphasize how long this has dragged out for and that there's a difference between making it important and boringly making it last forever
Sorry I'm a tad salty right now.)
Tobias continued on his work, and he saw something flash by on the rooftops. He gave a quick glance, yet thought nothing of it. It was probably just a hawk or a bird of some sort….
(OOF I'm sorry…. trying to make this go faster yet convey emotion…)
Skye bounded after her, paws thudding as he came level, Suddenly he lept towards her, pulling her down beneath him. She shifted back and stared at him. "Get off me" she said softly.
"Not till I get answers" said Skye softly, fighting tears and shock.
(Lol just to make this more interesting…)
Tobias was working when he heard a loud thump overhead. He jumped in his seat, and finished up before heading out of the room.
"I heard something up on the roof," He said quietly, mildly interrupting Steve while he was reading some book.
Steve sat up. "You know, I think they're working up there or something…. Maybe… Who knows? Don't worry about it, okay?"
He still felt uneasy. Working?… I would've heard more than that…
(Nice!)
"I.." the woman tried to think of a way to answer. "I can't tell you… you wouldn't understand…"
"That's not an answer! You can't just say that!" said Skye trying to process what was happening "It's been years… I can't stand finding you again and then have you leave me,* leave us,* again, not without answers…"
"Skye" the woman said it with a kind, heartbroken tone, "You would never understand…"
"Do you even know what we've been through? Me and my siblings?" asked Skye, his voice cracking.
The woman's breath caught.
"We have fought monsters. I- I'm the alpha now, and so is Sirus, Alex and the triplets are together again, and Alex has kids of his own, and Blaze has a daughter…"
Tears came to the womans eyes as she listened. "I truly am sorry… but I can't explain…"
"Why?!" asked Skye through tears, "I don't understand…. why…"
The woman pulled something out of her pocket, and grasped Skye's amulet. "I command you to let me go, and not to follow." said the woman, sadness evident in her voice.
Skye looked down at her in fear, as his body was unwilling forced to let her up, and he was forced to watch as she ran off. why…
(FYI Alex, Sirus, Blaze, they are all Skye's younger siblings. And Alex is Firiko's dad.)
(Lol okay then. That was a lot.)
Tobias came over and sat with Steve on the couch.
He put a bookmark in it and set it on the coffee table. "You wanna watch something tonight?" He asked, turning it on anyways.
Tobias was soon sucked in, focusing on nothing but what was on that screen. I should call Megan. I wonder if she knows what they're all up to…
(Sorry… I'm tryin' to find a happy medium here! XD)
Skye watched as the woman ran off, he wanted to follow her, with every part of his being. but he couldn't move.
The woman, (Her name is Allura so imma use it) ran down the next few alleys, Why here… and now.. she asked herself. Anguish ripped through her heart as she summoned her power, opening a portal. Leaping through she started once more on her journey between worlds.
Finally, Skye felt the spell Allura had put on him lift. It was almost dark and the stars were peaking out. It was a long time before Skye could bring himself to move. I'd better get back before Megan and Rio do something stupid… he thought, remembering that he'd left without a note. Pretty soon he was running back across the rooftops, trying to ignore his failure.
(Btw Are you even a little curious as to who Allura is to Skye? Just curious cause this is an element I'm going to try and incorporate into an existing plotline later on…)
(Well I feel like I already know. Or not. I'm not sure. And does Skye really think Megan's gonna do something stupid? Lol)
(Steve and Tobias are still watching TV)
Megan arrived home, and headed inside. It shouldn't be too long before either of them come back…. She dropped her stuff off in her office and came back downstairs. She sat herself down on the couch and grumbled lightly. This whole objective of getting them home is becoming more and more obscure now that… Well…. We could've had them go home days ago. She rubbed at her head. But that Marceo is so incredibly stubborn….
