Zev rolled his eyes. He grabbed a bottle and held it out to her, expressionless. "You aren't allowed to do this the night before we meet Alexi."

@gracehustle

"No really, I was going to go ham and get wasted," She replied, her voice dripping with sarcasm again as she grabbed the bottle.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev blinked, looking at her for a long moment. "That was sarcasm, correct?"

@gracehustle

Thesa twisted the cap off of the bottle as she answered, looking over at him, "Yes Zev, that was sarcasm, I won't get drunk before we meet Alexi." Once again the bottle traveled to her mouth and she started drinking, not really paying attention to Zev unless he said something.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev nodded slowly, and sat down. He was unused to deciphering the nuances of human speech, and was attempting to rectify that by learning what different tonalities sounded like.

@gracehustle

After a few minutes, the silence became too much for even Thesa to bear and she let out a sigh, looking over at Zev, "So, what is Alexi like? Just so I know a little background knowledge."

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Smart." Zev replied slowly, going through his memories of Alexi and trying to pick out characteristics that a human would recognize and admire. "He is polite, and a gentleman. He knows more about androids than anyone else I have heard of."

@gracehustle

"Ah, so I should be on my best behavior when we meet him?" She asked, already knowing the answer to the question, "Maybe ask a few geeky questions and seem really interested in the answers?"

@ElderGod-Icefire

"You should be…genuine." Zev replied slowly, cocking his head to one side as he looked at her. "I like you because you can't lie to me, Zev. You'll always be real with me." He could remember Alexi saying many things like that.

@gracehustle

She sucked in a small breath and raised an eyebrow, "I'm not sure that's the best idea, genuine me might not get along really well with him. I'll just try to be polite and nice, try not to freak out at actually meeting my idol."

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Be real." Zev replied. "He likes it when people are real and genuine." He looked at her calmly.

@gracehustle

"Whatever you say," She replied, having no intentions of acting completely like herself. Sure she would act close, but she was going to tuck away some of her worse habits and her past completely.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev blinked slowly. "He does not like to be lied to." he added, remembering the few times it had happened while Zev was around.

@gracehustle

Thesa nodded, going back to drinking more and letting the alcohol blur her senses, "I won't be lying to him, unless I have to for my own safety."

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev blinked, then nodded. "Alright. That makes sense." He replied calmly.

@gracehustle

She drank a little more before glancing over at him once again, asking another question to keep herself busy, "How many of the planets have you been to Zev? And what are they like?"

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev blinked. "I have been to Earth, to…this one, to the Earth's moon, and…I believe that is it." he replied slowly. "I did not get to travel very much before the ship was…disabled."

@gracehustle

"Why were you and Alexi traveling anyway?" She asked, cocking her head to the side, "And why would he just leave you on that lump of metal if he cared so much about you?" She knew what earth was like due to several 'business trips' there, saving her from having to ask the question of what it was like.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev blinked slowly, looking at her. "That is classified. You shall have to ask him yourself, as I cannot tell you." He replied.

@gracehustle

(I'm back for a few days! :D)
Thesa shrugged, "Alright, just curious." She drank some more and let out a sigh, out of questions and unable to think of anymore to ask him.

@ElderGod-Icefire

(okay!)
Zev watched her, unblinking now. He was silent, sitting still. Unnaturally still, though that was to be expected. He was only an Android, after all.

@gracehustle

"Why are you watching me so closely?" She asked, breaking the silence once again once she couldn't stand it. Her eyes flicked to where he was and she quickly looked away when he was looking at her and not moving at all.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev blinked again. "Was I? My apologies." he replied with a shrug.

@gracehustle

Thesa rolled her eyes and started picking at one of her fingernails, knowing it was a habit she needed to break but just couldn't seem to get rid of, "What were you thinking about?"

@ElderGod-Icefire

"I do not technically think, as that would require having the same neural passageways as you humans do. I do not; I have wiring and programming that mimics human behavior to the best of its abilities." Zev replied.

@gracehustle

"Ok, well then, what were you untechnically thinking about?" She questioned, "I mean, your brain can't just shut off and think of nothing."

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Actually, it can." Zev replied. "It's why I don't really dream. Because my brain completely shuts off."

@gracehustle

Thesa shook her head, "That doesn't make sense, you have to be thinking of something, even if you're trying to think of nothing, you're still thinking of something. As long as your body is receiving signals to interpret you have to be thinking."

@ElderGod-Icefire

"No, if I were human that would work. But I have the ability to shut down and simply observe without thought." Zev replied.

@gracehustle

"How?" She said, insanely curious and with an equally puzzled look on her face, "How can you observe without thinking?"
