Zev pursed his lips, thinking it over. "The possibilities again depend where on the mattress, and how I land."
"And it became Human, in most ways that mattered." // OxO // OPEN
"Dead center of the mattress, land perfect form," She said, crossing her arms and focusing on the sky, "How risky would that be?"
Zev shrugged. "I believe approximately 20 percent danger of me breaking irreparably." he replied, looking up at her still.
"We'll, do you want to play with those odds?" She asked, looking down at him and raising an eyebrow, "Think about it and what I would be promising, then we can tempt fate."
"There is no such thing as fate." Zev replied after a moment. "So there is nothing to tempt."
Thesa rolled her eyes, "Well then, Mr. Technical Tinhead, lets tempt the odds of you breaking. That better?"
Zev cocked his head a little bit. "Odds cannot be tempted. They do not change just because you decide to try." he replied.
"There you go with your formalness, I'm not serious," She said, wrinkling her nose, "Once again, you're a pain in the ass."
Zev shrugged slightly. "I'm nowhere near your ass. How can I be a pain in it?" He replied.
(Sry i was gone so long I was skiing all weekend and didn't have free time)
"Metaphor," She replied, scowling and shaking her head, "You take everything literally, it's not even fun."
(It's fine!)
Zev blinked. "Ah. And I was designed to take everything literally. Metaphors are complicated."
"You're complicated," She replied, making a note anyway to try to maybe use a few less metaphors, "Now, are you jumping off of here with me or not?"
"I know." Zev replied. "And no, I am not." he looked up at her still, hands by his sides.
Thesa shrugged, "Suit yourself, just know that I only promise not to be drunk when we meet Alexi, not the rest of the trip." She once again stepped up to the edge and jumped, grinning happily as she landed on the mattress.
"Fine." Zev replied, watching her come down again without expression or emotion. He merely watched her with that android gaze.
She flopped backwards when she had caught herself, laying out on the mattress and looking up at the sky, "It's so pretty out, kinda makes me want to go climb one of the tall buildings around here and get a better look at the sky."
Zev looked down at her. "You may climb a building tomorrow. You are not leaving the ship again tonight." he replied calmly.
"You're not my parent or babysitter, can't tell me what to do," She replied, not even looking at him, "Maybe I'll climb without any safety equipment, make it higher risk."
Zev rolled his eyes. "You're an idiot." he finally remarked with relish. "An absolute idiot."
"Am I now?" She replied, grinning slightly and raising an eyebrow as she glanced at him, "Why is that?"
"You are going to be killed." Zev replied.
"I don't think so," She replied cockily, shrugging and looking back at the sky.
Zev looked at her. "Yes, you will." He replied.
"Not if I don't slip." She propped herself up on her elbows and looked at him, teasingly arguing with him, "You of all people should know that, you can figure all of that math out."
Zev pursed his lips for a moment. "Hm. If you say so." He replied.
It was highly unlikely that she would actually go through with her plan of climbing up the side of a building but she didn't tell him that, just shrugging again and getting comfortable on the mattress. "Maybe I'll sleep out here," she said, looking over at him to see how much he opposed that idea.
Zev rolled his eyes. "I do not think that is a smart idea." he replied.
"Why?" She asked, cocking her head to the side and looking at him for a response. It actually was a nice night out, a little cold but with the blankets she had toted out it would actually be quite comfy.
"You could get hurt." Zev replied. "Or get sick."
"I have enough blankets, I won't get sick," Thesa said, "And I'll just beat up anyone that tries to hurt me."
