Zev shrugged a little. "Still. You could be in danger."

@gracehustle

"I'm always in danger Zev, it's in the job description," She said with a laugh, shaking her head, "This is just a little added danger, though you're here too so it's probably less danger in total than I'm used to."

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev cocked his head a little. "And who says I would keep you safe?" He replied. Just to see her response. In reality, he probably would.

@gracehustle

"Your programming," She said with a shrug, "You might absolutely not want to deal with me or keep me safe in any way, but to an extent your programming would most likely prevent me from getting killed."

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev cocked his head. "Not technically." He replied. "You are not my owner, therefore my programming doesn't drive me to either obey you or protect you."

@gracehustle

"But I'm your ride to Alexi," She replied, looking at him and rolling onto her stomach on the mattress, "I mean, you're not obligated to protect me, but unless you want to risk asking someone else for a ride, you'd protect me to get to him."

@ElderGod-Icefire

"You raise a good point." Zev replied. "However, after observing you, I believe I could pilot your ship without you, so technically I do not need you, just your ship."

@gracehustle

Thesa raised an eyebrow, watching him, "I highly suggest you don't try to pilot my ship without me though, I'm not that much of an idiot to leave it able to be piloted by anyone."

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev shrugged. "I could eventually figure it out." He replied. "It might take a while, but I do not doubt that I could."

@gracehustle

"It would take work to access most of the more advanced controls since they're protected, maybe you could get it off the ground, but anymore than that would take intense work and good guessing." She had always kept her ship protected from anyone who would try to hijack it and leave, a trick from when she had just started building her ship.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev cocked his head. "I am an android. I could figure it out." He replied calmly.

@gracehustle

"Eventually you could, but there is a limit to how many times you can try a password before it locks you out." Most of her system was built off of old scavenged parts and she had gotten the idea of a certain amount of tries from some safes she had come across, meaning after five incorrect tries it would disable for ten minutes, ten meant half an hour, and so on.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev shrugged. "Again, I could figure it out." he replied. "I could simply hack or erase your systems."

@gracehustle

Thesa scowled, "Don't you dare even think of that as one of the options, buddy. That ship is my baby."

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev's lips twitched in a movement that was almost a smile. "Mhm. If you say so. But if you aren't here to stop me…" he trailed off.

@gracehustle

"Well then, you'll watch out for me, right?" She asked, cocking her head to the side as she tried to figure him out.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev shrugged. "I don't know. Will I?" he retorted, eyebrow twitching.

@gracehustle

"That's up to you, but I would suggest you do," She replied, shrugging and rolling back onto her back, "Will you?"

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev shrugged. "Will I?" He countered, raising his eyebrows in an uncannily human manner.

@gracehustle

"You should," She finally said, meeting his eyes and forgetting for a moment that he was an android and not a human.

@ElderGod-Icefire

"And if I don't?" He challenged.

@gracehustle

"You don't get a free ride to Alexi," She shot back, smirking at him and ending the conversation.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev rolled his eyes. "Cruel, cruel woman." he replied.

@gracehustle

"Not cruel, just drives a hard bargain." Thesa looked at Zev one more time, shrugging as her smirk grew.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev shrugged. "It is the same thing." He replied after a moment.

@gracehustle

"No, cruel would be just straight up refusing to give you a ride," She specified, "Driving a hard bargain means I will help, but only for things in return. In this case getting to meet Alexi and protection from you."

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev cocked his head. "You are changing the deal we originally made." he replied slowly.

@gracehustle

Thesa shrugged and finally sat up, "Hey, either way, you're getting to Alexi, I'm just adding one small detail that probably won't come into play at all."

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev rolled his eyes a little. "Fine, then."

@gracehustle

"Perfect," She replied, laying back down and looking back at the sky, "So…now the question is, do I stay out here tonight? Or do I go back inside..like you want me to?"
