Zev disconnected. "Corinth's largest moon." He confirmed, standing up and putting away the cord.
"And it became Human, in most ways that mattered." // OxO // OPEN
By the time he had confirmed the information, she was passed out, still in her clothes from the day and laying ontop of her covers. She was fast asleep, despite her repeated telling to herself that she was only going to sleep for a few minutes.
Zev looked down at her, blinking slowly. Then he picked her up and tucked her beneath the blankets, and turned out the lights.
She didn't stir as he picked her up or tucked her under her covers, only rolling onto her side once she was set back down and warm under her blankets.
Zev sat down in the corner, closing his eyes and shutting down.
Surprisingly, Thesa didn't wake up until the morning, groaning as she finally opened her eyes and realizing the massive headache she had. Maybe drinking wasn't the best idea, stupid genetics and terrible hangovers.
Zev was still shut down in the corner, seated on the ground with his hands resting on his knees.
"Nope," She mumbled, rolling onto her stomach and burying her head into her pillow in an attempt to block out the headache.
Zev stirred after a while, blinking and twitching as he came back online, coming alive again.
Thesa still hadn't tried to move any more, content with trying to keep her massive headache at bay with the pillow pressed to her head.
Zev looked over at her, standing. "Thesa?" he said slowly. "It's morning."
"Shh, you're too loud," She mumbled, pressing her eyes closed and pulling her legs up so she was in a semi small ball.
Zev blinked. "I'm not." he replied. "I'm talking at a normal voice level."
"Yes you are," She said, her voice still muffled by the pillow, "Talk quieter, you're making my head hurt worse."
Zev adjusted his voice level. "Is this better?"
"Yeah," She replied, nodding and sighing, "I don't want to get up, maybe today we'll just do nothing."
Zev blinked slowly. "That sounds…boring." he replied calmly.
"My head hurts so I'm going to lay here for a while." She rolled onto her side and glanced up at him with squinted eyes, happy that the lights were still out.
Zev blinked again. "Alright." He replied. He plugged into the ship again, scanning for more information.
Thesa didn't think it would be that easy for Zev to leave her alone, but she happily accepted it and buried her head into her pillow once again.
Zev continued to go through the internet, scanning the news.
She seemed to go back to drifting in and out of sleep, rolling around and trying to let her headache go away.
Zev kept scrolling through, eyes flicking a little bit.
It was easy on Thesa's eyes for the lights to stay off, and she was thankful Zev didn't really need them to see since it made her actually consider getting up and maybe be smart and drink some water.
Zev was still plugged in, flicking through the news feed faster than anyone else possibly could have.
After a few minutes, she did roll onto her back, looking up at the dark ceiling and sighing. Hopefully, it was dulling down like she thought it was and she could handle getting up in a few minutes.
Zev continued as he had been, seated cross-legged on the floor.
Soon she had gotten herself standing, groaning and stumbling towards wherever she could get a glass of water. Her eyes were pressed closed though, so she was stumbling blindly, trusting her knowledge of the ship to help her not crash into anything.
Zev continued to scan the internet and communicate with Alexei, coordinating.
Thesa finally got a glass and gulped down some water, sighing in relief and just leaning against the wall. "Want to work on the ship?" She asked, opening her eyes and squinting around in the dark, "That's what we have to do today. Or at least I have to do."
