"I find cutting it like mine works best.." he said, taking the other's hand and finally getting to his feet, tempted to shift again to keep his balance.
Anyone up for romance?

Marcus nodded, leading the other through a doorway to the left of the kitchen. It led to a small bedroom that was extremely clean. The bed was a queen mattress, and took up a lot of space. Next to the closet on the far side of the room was the door to the bathroom, which also had a door leading to the main part of the apartment.
Marcus sat Firiko on the bed and grabbed a pair of scissors from a drawer in the nightstand by the bed. “I apologize beforehand if a few of these older shirts are stained. I often got injured.” He murmured, looking for the shirts that were the least bit bloodstained. He pulled a simple gray t-shirt from its hook, sighing when it had no burn marks nor blood. “Here,”
"Eh.. injuries are fairly normal.." he said, his wings resting beside him as he watched the other carefully.

Marcus sat next to Firiko and picked up the scissors. “Yes they are. Especially when you worked for a gang.” He laughed nervously. “It wasn’t very fun all the time. It still makes me want to hurl myself off the building.”
"Please don't do that…" said Firiko, "Though I do know what you mean, I mean, I lived in one of the most dangerous places in our world.."
group
“Of course, you lived in a place unspeakable. My trials are nothing compare to you.” He smiled softly, gently measuring and cutting the shirt for him.
"It's not that bad" said Firiko, "I always thought it was full of beauty… that is, when you know how not to disturb it.."
group
“Is it hard to learn?” He asked softly, offering the shirt to his soulmate.
Firiko took it slipping it on after checking the cuts, tying it in the back so it'd stay. "That's a hard question to answer…. I grew up in that forest… so.. I kinda know it like the back of my hand.. I don't know how long it would take someone to learn if they haven't been there all their lives.."
group
Marcus nodded softly, looking over the other. He had to admit, his soulmate was attractive. “I see how that would be hard.” He laughed softly. “So, what’s your experience with people.”
"Almost zero.." said Firiko sheepishly. "I more or less grew up alone…"
group
“Alone?” He frowned. “That’s not good. Have you made friends here?”
Firiko shrugged, "Like I said, I was passing through after a family meeting back in Wolf territories… so no… I didn't know anyone here till I met you…." he sighed, leaning back. "Though I wasn't exactly alone in the Primal either… other humans are pretty rare, but… Spirits aren't…"`
group
Marcus looked over him again, nodding softly. “I hope we can get along.” He said nervously, sliding closer. “After all, we do have to sort of work.”
Firiko nodded, "I hope so too…" he said moving to give him some space.
group
Marcus blushed lightly when Firiko moved. He apologized under his breath, sighing softly. “What do we want to happen in this relationship? How far do you want to take it?” He asked. “If you’d rather be just friends I wouldn’t mind. Some soulmates do that. They become pretty close friends and marry other’s.”
"I don't know…" said Firiko, "Maybe… maybe just see where it goes?" he said, completely new to relationships in general.
group
Marcus nodded, shifting. “Now what?” He asked softly, biting his lip.
"I have no idea…" said Firiko, staring up at the ceiling boredly.
group
Marcus hummed, laying down and sighing. “What do you like to do?” He asked softly.
"Fly.. explore…" Firiko sighed softly, knowing he wouldn't be doing much of either until his wing healed.
group
(Brb gotta go to the store)
“Ah… sounds fun. Do you like flying?” He asked softly, tilting his head to look up at the other.
(Coolio!)
Firiko nodded, "There's not much that could be better… just.. just that feeling of pure freedom.."
group
(I’m back!)
Marcus sighed. “The closest I can get to that is standing on the tops of buildings” He pouted.
"Maybe sometime I could take you…" he said, looking to study the other.
(HULLO!!)
group
(HELLO)
“Would you? I’d love to go.” He replied, flashing a flirty grin towards the other. “Sounds romantic.”
Firiko blushed, smiling shyly at him.
group
Marcus laughed softly, shaking his head. “You’re cute when you blush. You know that right?”
This made Firiko blush even more, looking away shyly.
