“Not like I’d talk to y’all enough to know.” She muttered defensively as she followed her.
"You're literally dating one. You better talk to me, or we're gonna have some issues." She said jokingly.
“I knooooow I just meant we don’t talk about shit like that.”
"Would you like to?"
She shrugged “maybe”
"So decisive." Rook teased as she took out a bobby pin, picking the lock on the door to the roof.
“Oh hush up, at least I’m not telling you what to do all the time.”
"Sadly. I kinda like 'em bossy." She pushed open the door and smirked back at the other girl.
She stuck her tongue out at her childishly.
"Careful where you point that, babe."
“No.” She replied, knowing full well that she was taller than Rook and could easily stop her.
Rook huffed and rolled her eyes, grabbing L's hand and dragging her to a spot near the edge. She plopped down and dangled her feet off the roof. "Here we are."
“It’s nice up here.” She smiled slightly and sat next to her.
"It is. Calming in a way."
“Guess you could say that.”
Rook closed her eyes and took a deep breath of the air, playing with L's finger. "Always did like high up places though."
“Why’s that?” She asked curiously.
"The thrill, partly. I would lean out open windows as far as I could, just t' get a rush." She shrugged.
“Sounds like something you’d do” she replied with a shrug, taking in a deep breath of the air, drowning in scents.
"I'm not sure what that's supposed to mean, but thanks?"
“It’s kind of a compliment so yeah, you’re welcome.”
She laughed, resting her head on L's shoulder. "How 'bout you? Anythin' you do for thrills?"
“Mostly just fighting. However most of the time I fight it usually has a good reason. But yeah, that’s a really big adrenaline rush for me.”
"I bet you'd look real hot in a fight."
“You think I look hot all the time, Rookie.”
"Okay, that may be true, but you'd look double hot." She stated matter of factly.
She chuckled “hopefully I get to punch someone’s face in soon”
"Only if I get to see."
“Fine. Maybe I’ll even let you choose who”
