Kalevi smiled. "We have a guest bedroom already ready."
Escort mission (o/o Closed)
"Just one?" Adelina sighed. "I'll take the couch so Abaven can be more comfortable through his pain." She smiled at him, hoping he would agree.
Abaven shook his head. "No. You should take the guest bedroom. You are her sister, I am just your escort."
"But you were stabbed in the gut. I think that is a tell tale sign that you should sleep in the bedroom." Adelina argued back.
"Adelina, I think I can survive sleeping on a couch. It's definitely an upgrade compared to what I'm used to anyways."
His eyes widened when he realized he said her name. "Forgive me, milady. I didn't mean to speak your name."
Kalevi was holding back laughter at how cute they were.
Adelina smiled when Abaven said her name. Honestly, she was glad he did so casually. "I don't mind actually… and just because you can survive the couch doesn't mean you shouldn't sleep on the bed. I can survive sleeping on the floor, but I wouldn't want to." She said with a small smile still on her face. She looked over to her sister and sent a small glare.
Abaven let out a sigh. "Fine. I won't argue with a customer," he grumbled and slowly got up, using the couch for support. Kalevi led him to the bedroom, and then returned to Adelina. "So, you really don't like him?"
Adelina had a satisfied smile. She looked up at Kalevi as she came back in the room. "I mean… of course… I don't. Why even would I?" She said in denial while leaning back into the chair.
Kalevi rolled her eyes. "Hon, you can't keep secrets from me. I know you like him. Or at least, you will."
Adelina sighed in slight defeat. "… I mean… he is growing one me a bit… But there's no reason he should be… he's just an escort and he's not even allowed to say my name." She glanced over to her sister then down at her hands.
"And yet, you allow him to say your name." Kalevi shook her head, smiling. "At least you admit that he's growing on you."
"I would actually be happier if he could say my name…" Adelina smiled back weakly. "Maybe I should tell him that tomorrow. Would that be weird?"
Kalevi shook her head. "That wouldn't be weird. It's just your preference,"
Adelina nodded slightly, "Okay, I'll tell him tomorrow… Speaking of tomorrow do you have any extra blankets and a pillow I can use?" She said as she sat up.
Kalevi nodded, and left the room. Not even two seconds later, she returned with a large blanket and a fluffy pillow and handed them to her. "Goodnight, Adelina."
"Thank you so much, Kalevi. Goodnight." Adelina carefully laid down the pillow and wrapped her self in the blanket. She then fell onto the couch and closed her eyes, trying to fall asleep.
(Time skip, right?)
(Yea!)
Time skip
Abaven was already feeling better after a night of rest. It was later in the day, more around 11 am, but he didn't realize. He walked into the kitchen where Kalevi was, who was washing off the dishes from breakfast. Abaven wasn't too hungry anyway. Just sore.
(One thing… 11 pm is almost midnight, did you mean 11 am?)
(embarrassed noises yea i did lmao. i fixed it though!)
(Lol okay XD)
Adelina noticed Abaven awake. "Good morning, sleepyhead." She said in a quieter voice than normal and with a little smile. "How did you sleep last night?"
He took a deep breath and stretched his arms. "It was great. I didn't know it was possible for beds to be that comfy…" He trailed off into a yawn.
Kalevi left the room and returned with bandages and handed them to him. "You should re bandage your wounds before you set out."
"I'm glad. Do you need any help with the bandages?" Adelina asked while standing up letting Abaven sit on the couch if he wanted.
He shook his head and plopped down on the couch. "No. But thank you." He flashed her a toothy smile and lifted up his shirt, beginning to bandage his wound once more
Adelina nodded and left the living room to talk to Kalevi before they left. "Hey, thank you so much. You've done so much in just one day. You need to come visit me some time." She said with a smile.
"It was my pleasure." Kalevi smiled and hugged her sister. "And I'll be sure to visit you one day"
Adelina hugged her sister back. "You better!" She said with a giggle and a smile. She went back into the living room to see if Abaven was ready to go.
Abaven was finished. "Ready to go?" He grinned and opened the front door, holding it open for her.
"Yes, thank you, Abaven." Adelina stepped through the door, waiting outside for him. "So are you still up for taking me to see my brother?"
