"Of course!" He closed the door behind them. "I thought you didn't want to anymore though…" he chuckled softly. "I don't mean to pry, but why didn't you tell your sister?" He tilted his head at her. This kept me up at night. I need to know!
Escort mission (o/o Closed)
"Oh I just didn't want her to worry or anything." Adelina responded with a small smile. It was true, she feared of she told her sister, she would warn against it and make Adelina not go.
Abaven shrugged. "I guess that makes sense." He continued to walk in the direction of where her brother was.
(Time skip?)
(Yes! To when?)
(To when they're near the base? Also, did we want her brother to be like,,, the head of the group? That way it'll be like "oh what that's my sister" and they have a reunion after Adelina's all healed? I dunno)
(Oo yeah! I like that idea!)
Time Skip
Abaven was exhausted. Trying to focus on any attackers was becoming increasingly difficult. "We're almost there, milady." He smiled at her and quickly focused his attention back to what he was doing before
Adelina smiled softly looking over to Abaven."Thank you again for taking me here, it means a lot. Do you need to take a break, you look very tired."
"It's my pleasure to escort you," he grinned and bowed slightly when he said that. "And if you feel like it would be wise to take a break, then so be it."
Adelina smiled as Abaven bowed. "Yes, a break would be a good idea… see those rocks over there?" She said, pointing to a cluster of rocks. "We should stop there." She glanced over to Abaven and looked back at the rocks.
He sighed softly. "Yes, that seems like a decent place to rest." To Abaven, any place would be a decent place to rest right now. He sat down on the rocks and closed his eyes, but made sure to still listen closely and peek his eyes open every once in a while.
(did you want to play the assassin or did you want me to?)
Adelina smiled and sat down on one of the rocks, sighing as she relaxed. She was glad to have a break, she had been getting very tired.
(I can since you did Adelina's sister and the person following them in the woods. When should the assassin come though?)
(Bleep~)
(Probably some time right about now, but it's ultimately your call-)
Abaven made the mistake of feeling comfortable, and he let his guard down. He let out a soft sigh. "Even rocks are comfy… I must be losing my mind."
"No no, I feel the same… it's been a long day already." Adelina smiled closing her eyes. After a little, she got lost in her own world, not noticing the third set of steps coming toward her. The pace picked up, then a stick cracked, jerking Adelina out of her world and into the real one. Her eyes open again, she jumped off the rock upon seeing a man charging. She hid behind the rock, but deciding it was not a good idea, she stood up, running to Abaven.
(I'm just gonna bump this…)
(Bloop~)
(I just don't want this to die completely…yet)
