Lore turned around and bowed to her parents, “Pleasure to meet you, Hades and Persephone.” She grinned from ear to ear. She turned back to Kendalla, “So, what does he look like?”

@Fenrir

Persephone and Hades nodded to Lore and headed to the snack table.
"I actually don't know, he doesn't allow others to see him." Kendalla admitted to her friend "you know as much as u do which is what we've seen at the wedding."

“Maybe tonight he’ll let you see?” She crosses her arms to warm up. It was especially chilly up here on the windy, foggy hill—especially with little or no sleeves on, “If not, just light up his face with a lamp while’s he’s sleeping. He might be really ugly, you never know.”

@Fenrir

Kendalla thought it over "maybe." She muttered "uhm, I have to go, I'll see you soon." She headed over to the gardens, needing something familiar around her

@Purple_Sunglow

“Okay!” She giggled, waving to her friend as she walked away, “Tell me all about tonight, tomorrow!” She bounced on her heels.

@Fenrir

She laughed softly "sure." She headed around the house, away from the crowds and to the gardens out back. Needing to do something. She sat down in the middle of a patch of white flowers and waved a hand over them, growing them up high so the concealed her

Once down the hill, Shiloh pulled off the hood and mask to breathe in some fresh air, “Ah..” he sat down in the grass with his chin resting on his knees. His eyelids grew heavy, so he happily rested his eyes.

@Fenrir

"thought I might find you here." Persephone said, keeping her head down so she wouldnt see his true form. "We need to talk."

"Her I wonder where Kendalla is?" Hades said, parting the flowers to find his daughter "hi Dad."
"Flower, what are you doing here?" He asked, sitting down next to her

@Purple_Sunglow

Shiloh quickly threw his cape back on, “You need to talk?” He repeated, donning his raspy slow voice again. He kept his chin on his knees.

@Fenrir

"don't worry, I know it's you Shiloh. No need to lie to me." Persephone reasured, sitting beside him. "That was beautiful back there." She continued "I hope you.meant every word of it."

@Purple_Sunglow

“Oh..” he turned his head to her, but kept his hood on, “I did..and I do.” he smiled a little bit, “But don’t tell her..I’m afraid she’ll get mad.” He rubbed his thumb against his knee absentmindedly.

@Fenrir

"yeah, she finds out she ever married the man who betrayed her to Aphrodite. She'll be a little bit more than mad." Persephone chuckled "look, I'm not here to worry you, though my previous statement seems opposite. I just want to make sure you know who you married. She deserves happiness, and I believe you can give that to her." She touched his shoulder reasuringly "love her." She said before walking off to find Hades

@Purple_Sunglow

“Ah…I will.” He lifted his head, watching her leave back up the hill. He could only hope Persephone wouldn’t tell her. She said she wouldn’t, but it was still only hope.

Once talking to her father, Kendalla stood from her flower patch and headed back to the reception area where the dance started.

Shiloh looked up the hill, silently debating whether he should go up and celebrate with the rest of them or not. A thick puddle of guilt pooled in his stomach, silently apologizing to her. He wanted to see her, desperately, but he couldn’t risk showing her his face. So he ditched the cloak and hood hiding his features and went up to celebrate as himself—without telling her he was her husband, of course.

@Fenrir

Kendalla danced with most of the guest at the party, enjoying herself and the company of loved ones and friends. She danced with her parents, the three of them just hugging and laughing. Once that was done, kendalla sat down and waited patiently to dance with her new husband, glancing around the area for a cloak or mask or anything that would tells her that was it was him

@Purple_Sunglow

“Kendalla..?” It wasn’t Elijah, but it was Shiloh draped in a white covering, “I’m sorry I missed the wedding.” His arms dangled at his sides and his shoulders hunched in shame.

@Fenrir

Kendalla kept her head down, respecting his wish to not be seen by her until he was ready and only saw his shoes . "It's ok, parties aren't your thing, huh?" She laughed softly "yeah…mine either. Well, you're here now so it doesn't matter."

@Purple_Sunglow

“Kendalla, it’s me, Shiloh.” He hoped his feet wouldn’t give him away, “You can look at me, just not Elijah.”

@Fenrir

She snapped her head up and stood "I….I'm sorry…I mistook you for my husband….what are you doing here?" She backed away, confused. She was sure she was speaking to Elijah seconds ago.

@Purple_Sunglow

“I just wanted to congratulate you on your…big day.” He forced a smile, “And also apologize..”

@Fenrir

She gripped the back of her chair and closed her eyes, trying to concentrate on her breathing "It's not your fault. I clearly did something to upset your mother so now I have to live with it. You were just doing your job. Thank you for offering me a choice." She relaxed and stood straight "if you'll excuse me, I think I need time alone." She headed away from the crowd, brushing past Shiloh. He's even wearing the same cloak…

@Purple_Sunglow

“You’re welcome.” He sighed, speaking quieter, “But you didn’t do anything wrong..”
He turned around to go back down the hill, silently wondering if he made a mistake or not probably.

@Fenrir

Kendalla found a quiet spot and sat, thinking over the past few days. She sighed and lied on the ground, "I promised I will try." She muttered before falling asleep

@Purple_Sunglow

An hour or so later, Elijah found Kendalla laying down in the grass somewhere close to his house. The sight of her there made her smile. He knelt down, gathering her in his arms, careful not to wake her.

@Fenrir

She groaned slightly in protest but remained asleep untill the next morning. She awoke late in the morning, glanced congratulations around, not knowing where she was at the moment, then sighing in relief as she saw that she was in the bedroom. She flopped back down and glanced over at the sleeping form next to her. She knew it was Elijah, but a voice in the back of her head also said it was Shiloh

@Purple_Sunglow

He back faced her while he slept with the blanket pulled over his face.
If this was Shiloh, son of Aphrodite, whom she had wronged, it was possible that he had killed Elijah and come to kill her. If he made her marry a monster, would he not be opposed to violence? He was the god of chaos..
The form rose and fell in rhythm with each breath.

@Fenrir

The thoughts rang through Krndalla’s mind
then why would he sleep through the night to kill me in tbe morning, if he had the perfect chance to do so before. kendalla sighed, debating whether to rip the sheets away to reveal her secretive husband. She stood, looked at bus sleeping form for a moment lnger and shook her head. if she trued anything, she’d surly die. she headed out of the bedroom to explore the house while the curtains were open, illuminating the rooms with light. She found a kitchen and a living area. She also found a spacious library. “Yes! Finally some books!” Kendalla had always loved to learn and read.

@Purple_Sunglow

Shortly after she left, Shiloh woke up and pushed the blanket off her his face. He sighed through his nose, curling up a little bit as he preferred just to stay in bed. The first thing he noticed was that Kendalla wasn’t behind him anymore.

@Fenrir

Kendalla staywd in the library, having found and open window that doubled as seating book. He found a blanket from downstairs and curbed up on the window sill, pulling the curtains closed to make a small room for herself. She smiled giddily as she opened the first book, one on mystery and an adventurer
