Lucky had barely reacted to having the weapons drawn on her, knowing better than to show fear or hesitation. It wasn't her first experience with pirates. She did step closer to Raphael once he was over, motioning for him to let her check the stitches.

@Dirt

Raphael pulled up the side of his shirt, showing the stitches. The wound looked somewhat red and inflamed, but besides that the stitches looked fine.
Estaban on the other hand frowned at Rahpeal's stitches- but mostly the redness of the wound. He shiffted his attention to his crew. "Well don't just stand there like bumming idiots. Back to work. This ship can't sail its self." Most of the crew dissipated. A few staying behind to help lung Raphael some where less busy.

@croccin-champagne

"Those actually look better'n I thought they would." Lucky said, crossing her eyes to look up at Estaban's hat on her head. "He'll heal up nicely, if he keeps 'em clean."

@Dirt

"That's good to hear." Though Estaban shot her a glance, as to say shut up.
"captain, you brought a woman aboard?" the crew member spoke loud enough for anyone close to hear. Estaban rolled his eyes. The damage already being done.

@croccin-champagne

Whoops. Lucky shrugged, bracing herself for any type of barrage, be it words or weapons. She probably should have been a bit more careful, but who were they kidding. It would have been found out eventually, no matter what they'd done.

@Dirt

Whispers broke out. Starting as, "she's bad luck." And, "this is gonna get us all killed." But soon angry shouts erupted. Alerting though who didn't know yet. Estaban rolled his eyes. "Nd' what'er y'all gonna do 'bout it?" A wicked grin crossed his lips. Mayne he'd get to throw someone over board. Hopefully someone he really didn't enjoy. "Lucky here," he mentioned to her casually. Though he seemed almost stiff. Afraid they'd call their bluff. "She's a witch."

@croccin-champagne

Lucky rested a hand on her cocked hip, lifting her other hand in a cheeky wave. She might not actually be a witch, but she could sell the part incredibly well. The runes in blood on her chest helped that, as did the scar over her eye. She found it slightly ironic, the shouts of 'bad-luck', paired with her name.

@Dirt

At the mention of witch, more whispers broke out. The main one being thoughts that she was an enchantress. That only made Estaban smile. How stupid could they truly be? "Captain! We best be rid of her. Women are bad luck." Obviously one of the more brave pirates. "Witch er' not. She'll get us all killed."

@croccin-champagne

"And yet," Lucky said, raising an eyebrow. "I'm the one who stopped your shipmate from bleeding out." There were a million other things she would've loved to say, but she knew she had to tread carefully. Getting out of one death and walking straight into another wasn't on her to-do list.

@Dirt

The brave pirate froze, but he quickly continued pushing hus case. "But yer' still bad luck- Captain yer' under her spell. Ya said it yer self she's a witch!" Estaban again rolled his eyes. He slid an arm around Lucky's waist. Assuming she'd probably slap him or something. "Ya didn't put a spell on me did ya, Lucky?" He raised an eyebrow jokingly.

@croccin-champagne

"That'd be a waste of magic." Lucky said, elbowing him in the side. "Got better things to use a spell or two on than a pirate." Being on a ship full of men with lacking moral compasses was an issue enough for her, the touching was definitely not happening.

@Dirt

Estaban quickly drew his hand back. Lifting his hands in defeat. "There ya go. I'd be a waist of magic. Now if y'all don't mind, Raphael needs rest." He helped his friend from someone else's shoulders onto his own. "Lucky is our guest. No ones aloud ta' touch her." He pushed open the door to the Captain's quotes, turning his attention to Lucky. "Would you like ta stay out here? Or come with me?"

@croccin-champagne

"Somebody's gotta check his stitches after all this movin' around." Lucky said, by way of answer. She slipped through the gathered crew, hyper-aware of any hands semi-close to her. She stopped in front of Estaban, crossing her arms over her chest. "He needs fluids, too. Help replace the blood he lost."

@Dirt

Estaban gave her a dumbfounded look. He wasn't that smartest when it came to the whole medical thing. So he didn't exactly know what she ment. "Want me to stab one my crew and drop their blood into Raphael?" He there was no hint of sarcasm in his voice.

@croccin-champagne

"For the love of-stars no." Lucky shook her head in exasperation. "He needs water, Est-cap'n." She didn't seem to be very sure what she should call him. "Fresh water. His body'll make the blood itself, but water'll help speed the process up."

@Dirt

"Right, water." Estabao chuckled at his own stupidity before adding, "n don't feel the need ta call me caption. Yer' not part of my crew. Yer above them." He smiled before leaving the room to fetch some water for Raphael.

@croccin-champagne

Lucky blinked, watching him go with a slightly startled expression. That hadn't quite been the response she'd been expecting. Shaking her head, she leaned against the wall, studying the room she was in, before her eyes landed on Raphael. "You a'ight?"

@Dirt

Raphael had hobbled over to Estaban's Desk. Knocking a bunch of stuff off of it and stabilizing himself. "Yus" he breathed out. He continued to speaking while letting his pain settle to a throb. "Ya know. Cap ain't found of most. Take it as a compliment. he's yet to yell at ya." His sentences choppy.

@croccin-champagne

"Tha's a bit strange, 'specially considerin' my natural instigating abilities." Lucky said, looking like she was considering that. "You need t' sit. Nothin' but rest and water'll help now."

@Dirt

"Right. Right." Raphael waddled around Estabaans Desk and sat himself in his chair, just as Estaban came back with water.
"Here." Estaban put the bucket on the desk for Rahpeal. "What would we've done with out ya', lucky?"

@croccin-champagne

"You'd both be dead." Lucky said bluntly, but there was the ghost of a smile playing on her lips. "You got any injuries yourself?" She didn't ask if he had any that needed dealt with, just if he had any. She'd deal with them just the same.

@Dirt

"Most likely." Estaban said, replying to her first response, and completely dismissing her question. If he did have any injuries, he'd deal with them on his own. Besides, he was pretty sure all he had was nothing but bunch of scrapes, and bruises from his earlier capture.

@croccin-champagne

Lucky narrowed her eyes at him, raising an eyebrow. "Estaban, I'm serious. While I'm here, I might as well make myself useful. Any injuries?" She repeated her question, crossing her arms.

@Dirt

Estaban rolled his eyes. Something that he seemed to be doing more and more as the day went on. "Am fine. Nothn' but scrapes and what not." He waved a hand idoly, to dismiss any other questions she might try and ask.

@croccin-champagne

"If I notice anythin' that suggests otherwise, I'll be sitting your ass down and takin' care of it." Lucky said, her tone brooking no room for argument. "Even if it means tyin' ya up."

@Dirt

Estaban's eyes widened. He definitely wasn't used to being treated like this. In fact he found himself almost scared of Luck. "Geez. I've been fine so far. I'm not gonna collapse all of a sudden, so calm down."

@croccin-champagne

"Good." Lucky seemed to relax at that, shoulders slumping a bit as she leaned more weight against the wall. She was still wearing his hat. "Now, you got any advice on not gettin' myself shot up there?"

@Dirt

"Keep up the witch act? Don't be afraid?" Estaban shrugged. If he was being completely honest, he didn't really know. Its not like he'd actually ever brought a woman aboard his ship before. "Actually-" he walked over to his desk, where Rahpeal was half asleep in his chair. Shuffled through a compartment and pulled out a gun. "If it really comes down to it." He held the gun out to her.

@croccin-champagne

Lucky took the gun carefully. She wanted to say she wouldn't have to use it, but the truth was, she had no clue. So after a moment of deliberation, she tucked it into one of her boots. "So, if I just screw around with the plants I've got on me, that should help. And don' worry about the fear thing."

@Dirt

"Sure. Nd if ya need more plants we'll make a quick stop." His tone was slightly sarcastic. But he was worried his crew would try something if she ran out of tricks.
