"You plannin' on jumpin' in?" Lucky asked, raising an eyebrow. She kept the slight twinge of fear carefully shoved down, looking amused now.

@Dirt

"if ya haven' noticed yet lil' lady, when cap ain't 'round, and Rahpeals dow', I'm in charge." A few frightened looks from the others seemed to confirm it. No one wanted to get hurt, especially after all the chaos that'd already happened that day. "Yer bad luck sweety, nd we can't have that now can we?"

@croccin-champagne

"You're in charge o' them." Lucky said, jerking her head in the direction of a cluster of the crew. "Not me. Sorry, sweetheart." Her fear was gone now, replaced by some sort of desire to knock this man down a peg. She'd never liked people who led through fear, and he was exactly that type.

@Dirt

He gritted his teeth, not liking how she seemed to think she was above him. Even though she was, as Estaban had told her earlier. "Ya little-" he grabbed her by the arm and began roughly dragging her twords the edge of the ship.

@croccin-champagne

Lucky's knife was out in an instant, with a planned swipe to his arm. Just to get him to let her go, since she couldn't really fight with just the small knife. The cut bled heavily, but wasn't actually that serious of an injury, just looked like it was. "I'm not in the mood t' get wet, sorry."

@Dirt

He quickly let her go and pulled her arm closer to him. "What the hell?" He shouted. He looked at the blood and cursed. He made another grab for her. Rage bubbling from him. If he wasn't pissed before, he was now.

@croccin-champagne

Lucky took a step back, grinning wickedly as she spun the knife between her fingers. "Nobody ever tell ya it's rude t' grab a woman without permission?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. The angrier he got, the sloppier his movements, it seemed.

@Dirt

"Don't care." He made more attempts. Missing ever time. He was large, and tall, which made him clumsy as it was. With the added anger, he almost looked like a fish out of water.

@croccin-champagne

"Well that ain't very polite." She quipped, barely even actually moving. Just a small side step here, leaning just out of the way there, all too easy. Amusing, but a bit of a let down.

@Dirt

He stopped for a moment, seeming as if he was giving up. But then he lunged, done with making small attempts. The rest of the crew had been laughing, but now they stopped. A few scrambled to their feet, ready to jump in, or get Estaban.

@croccin-champagne

Lucky didn't have time to dodge. All she could really do was manage to twist as he grabbed at her, taking both of them to the ground.

@Dirt

"Not so tough now?" A smile twisted his lips. Shouts from the rest of the crew erupted. "Get off her!" And other shouts rang out. A few of the crew had began to not mind having her around. Especially after all the help she'd been during the storm.

@croccin-champagne

"You ain't that lucky." Lucky shot back with a smirk, eyes lighting up as she kneed him in the gut and rolled. She'd done plenty of wrestling as a kid, and was fully prepared to play dirty.

@Dirt

He cursed as he groaned in pain. "Ya ain't that lucky either-" a sound of a gun shot cut him short.
"she's right. Ya ain't lucky." Estaban lowed his gun. He looked around glaring at everyone. "What happened to yer gun, Lucky?"

@croccin-champagne

"In my boot." Lucky said, standing and rolling her shoulders. She didn't look too messed up, and at least didn't have any injuries. She looked over at Estaban, still grinning wildly.

@Dirt

"You're crazy." Estaban rolled his eyes at her grin. A smile came to his own lips when he saw she wasn't hurt, but he quickly turned his attention the the crew member that'd been attacking Lucky. "Off my ship before I really shoot ya."

@croccin-champagne

Normally, despite all that had happened, Lucky would have protested. This time around, she kept her mouth shut. The crew would honestly be better off without the man, and something told her it'd be highly unlikely she could convince Estaban of anything other than what he'd set his mind on.

@Dirt

"But cap-"
"Off my ship. Or I throw ya." Estaban made his way over to lucky and looked her up and down. "Are ya okay? Did he hurt you?" His voice full of worry and concern.

"I'm fine." Lucky said, rolling her eyes. "The only injured one is that ass." She jerked her head in the man's direction, tapping her arm where she'd cut him.

@Dirt

Estaban cocked his head to the side, spotting the blood. "Huh. Good job, Lucky?" He sounded confused as if not knowing what quiet happened. "What'd ya do to him?"

Lucky dangled her knife, which still had a small bit of the man's blood on it, between her forefinger and thumb. "I prefer knives o'er guns. Plus, it was easier t' reach. When he grabbed me…" She trailed off, not seeing the need to explain further.

@Dirt

"He grabbed ya?" Estaban's eyebrows shot up. He didn't want to explode in anger, but the urge was there. "Yer sure yer not hurt?" The anger he felt creeping into his voice.

"Yeah, I am." Lucky hesitantly reached up, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Sorry, for causin' a commotion." She was well aware that she had a habit of instigating fights, and causing trouble.

@Dirt

"Its fine, Lucky." Estaban frowned slightly at her. "It ain't yer fault. You where defenden' yer self." He had stiffened slightly at her touch, not really expecting it. By now all his anger had left, leaving him more worried then anything.

Lucky let her hand drop, now that he wasn't as angry. She couldn't help but notice the way he'd stiffened, and was slightly worried it was her fault. "It was a bit more than tha'." She said, shaking her head. "I mighta been itchin' t' knock 'im down a peg."

@Dirt

Estaban's worry changed yet again, but this time to amusement. "Well ya did a bang up job o' that." He waved his hand, mentioning to the pirate that was trying to get a row boat over the edge of the ship.

Lucky let out a small laugh, eyes flickering to the pirate. "I'm pretty certain tha's one man your ship won' miss." She said, wrinkling her nose as she stuck her hands in her pockets.

@Dirt

"Maybe." Estaban continued watching him struggle. Amusement still on his face. "We didn't have a fourth." He said, meaning who was next in change.

"So find one." Lucky said, as though it was that simple. "You've got a bit o' time, and a fine crew." She said, eyes sweeping across the deck.

@Dirt

Estaban turned his attention to Lucky. "Well ya see," he started, "while yer here maybe ya'd like the role? It'd mean less trouble fer' ya."
