Colby nods and leans into the other. He seemed to calm down, his eyes shutting again. "I love you." He whispers quietly, not wanting to do anything that might hurt himself.
Hero vs Villain (O/O)
"I love you too," King responded back softly. He was careful with how he held Colby as to not aggrivate his injuries further. King still kept the other close to him though.
He smiled and nuzzled into the other, giving a happy little sigh. He was grateful by the fact that King was so gentle with him, especially since it came to his injuries.
King gave him a little kiss on the forehead once more. He would have squeezed Colby, but that wouldn't have been good for Colby.
Colby nuzzled into the others shoulder. "I wonder what Pax is up to?" he hummed quietly before kissing King's nose sweetly. "I love you." He mutters.
"I love you too, and hopefully nothing too troubling," King hummed as he smiled at Colby happily, "If so, I hope he would have woken us up."
Colby nods and cuddles closer. "I can hear the tv going off in his room." He hummed, holding King close. He liked this.
King pulled Colby a little closer to him, “Then I guess he didn’t get into trouble then. Must not have gotten your trouble making trait.”
"Pax is very well behaved." He giggles quietly. "And he's recovering, so I'm not to worried. He's strong." Colby nuzzles into the other and looks up, a sweet smile on his lips.
King looked down at Colby and melted a little inside. He let out a soft sigh and spoke more to himself than Colby, “How did someone like you become a villain? Your just so.. kindhearted.”
Colby paused before shutting his eyes. "Blackmailed and being experimented on." He mutters quietly, his eyes narrowed. He was glad to be out of the villain business.
"Oh…." King told him and held Colby closer to him. That, that made too much sense, "I'm so sorry for bringing it up."
He nods and sighs, leaning into the other. "It's… it's fine. When I was offered a cure for my little brother, I was desperate. I let it happen to me. I let them make me into what I am now… a monster." He mumbles quietly, leaning into the other and shutting his eyes.
"Hey, you're not a monster," King told him immediately before thinking back on his words. He continued on quietly, "Well, that part might be somewhat correct, but you were doing it for your brother. Not because you enjoyed it, so that makes you no 'real' monster okay Colby?"
Colby hiccuped softly, trying his hardest not to cry. The amount of people he had hurt… He had never really killed anyone, but seeing people fear him, seeing people scream and cry, seeing a child alone… It was terrifying to him. He didn't want to be a monster. Didn't want to hurt people. But he had been so desperate for some sort of cure that he was blind to the pain of others. "Okay." His voice was hoarse and sad, wavering at the guilt that was crushing his chest.
King held Colby close hearing the hiccupping and seeing the threat of tears. He gently kissed Colby's forehead as he began to ran his hand through Colby's hair. His voice was soft as he started murmuring to Colby, "You're fine Colby. You don't have to do it anymore. I'm here for you if you want to vent."
Colby instantly seemed to calm once King kissed his forehead, nodding a little bit and leaning into his hands. "Thank you." he whispers, his eyes shutting as he tried his hardest to keep calm. He was so tired of crying and getting upset. He was free now after all.
"It's nothing Colby, really," King told him softly. He let out a soft sigh and continued to run his fingers through Colby's hair, "And I'll happily do anything for you."
He smiled a little bit and leaned into those sweet touches. He needed a little assurance right now. He kissed his cheek sweetly and smiled a little bit. "Thank you, darling." He mutters quietly.
"You're welcome," King kissed Colby's forehead softly as he whispered to him. He stayed like that for a moment before moving so his head was in the crook of Colby's neck.
Colby leaned into those touches, moving so that he could hold King closer, kissing the top of his head, smiling a little. He liked having the other in his arms. It was comforting.
King nuzzled against Colby gently. He let out a soft sigh glad to have Colby in his arm next to him.
Colby pressed a soft kiss to the others forehead and hummed in content. "I like this… no more villainy… no more hurting. Just… just us."
"I like this too," King nuzzled against him before pressing a light kiss to his skin. He knew that at some point he had to return to being Crystalline, there were more threats to deal with. He let out a little sigh and kept a smile on, "I really do."
He paused before turning his attention to the other. "You know… we could make it official… that me my villain self… is gone for good. Dead. I could be your partner if you wanted." He whispers, kissing his lips gently. "We could fight together.
King hadn't thought of that. He paused a moment before kissing Colby back, "Are you sure that's safe for you? For Pax? Being a hero isn't much safer than being a villain you know. But, um, I would love to have you as a partner."
He nods slowly, "It would help." He mutters quietly. He leans into the other and kissed his forehead, humming in content. "I love you." He whispers, his hand running through King's hair gently. "And being your partner would be amazing."
"I'm not so sure," King laughed softly before he let out a long sigh. He looked up at Colby melting as his hair was run through, "It's pretty dangerous given that I can't exactly 'kill' the villains, but they can slaughter me all they want. Morals, you know?"
He chuckles and nods. "Not really fair, is it?" He kissed the other gently and hummed as he gazed at the other. "To think I would try to kill you." He runs his fingers along King's cheek. "But then again you're much to strong. I doubt we would have been able to "kill" each other."
“I’m not as strong as you think,” King replied softly his skin buzzing where Colby had touched him, “Plenty of others have tried and a few almost succeeded. But I don’t think you ever would have.”
