"I couldn't even kill civilians… It was the one loophole I found while I was working." He sighed softly and kissed his forehead. "You are very strong though. Almost had me on the ropes a few times." He chuckles quietly.
Hero vs Villain (O/O)
“I did? That’s surprising given I’m just an idiot in a costume running around with a dull sword and a bunch of gems,” King teased more poking fun at himself than anything. He lightly kissed Colby, “Sorry about that.”
He hummed and laughed quietly, "My dumb dumb running around with a dull sword and elements." He kissed the others lips happily and shook his head. "I enjoyed our little fights." He teased quietly.
“They were definitely some of the more pleasant ones,” King hummed in return smiling. He gently kissed Colby on the lips still smiling.
He laughed quietly and kissed the others cheek, his eyes soft. "Yes, I have to admit those were my favorite fights." He whispers and kisses him back happily.
"Indeed," King hummed a little before kissing Colby once more. There were no words to describe how happy he was at this moment.
He giggles quietly at the kiss, just happily pressing kisses along his cheeks, forehead and lips. He was just so happy and just relaxed.
King was smiling quite a bit as Colby decided to pepper him in kisses. He gave a little nuzzle to Colby in return and kept the happy mood.
Colby smiled down at King, glad to see him in a good mood. There was a soft knock on the door and Pax slowly entered. "Mind if I join you two?" He asks softly.
King looked up and over to the door. He gave him a soft smile before looking back to Colby, "I have no problem with it if you don't."
Colby shook his head and pats the bed, his eyes soft as he gazes at his younger brother. Pax waddles over to them and settles onto the bed happily.
King smiled at Pax and Colby. He could stay like this for a while if he wanted to, forever even.
Colby didn't want to move. This was the most comforting and relaxing thing he had ever experienced. He smiles a little bit and kisses King's nose affectionately.
King hummed with a little smile as he tried to kiss Colby's nose. How long had it been since King had felt this safe? A long time if he was being honest, probably before he had discovered his powers even.
Colby chuckles quietly and kisses his forehead. Pax giggles quietly and cuddles close to the two of them. Colby could not be more content than while he was here.
(Skip maybe?)
(Sure!)
(Cool do you want to start?)
(Sure thing)
It's been a few weeks. Colby is fully healed and walking around like he never even got hurt. He seemed happier too, now that he wasn't in excessive pain.
King had stuck around those few weeks. He had been able to almost fully migrate his classes online so he wasn't behind in his studies at the very least. As for Crystalline, the hero had been making more appearances as the villains seemed to have been getting more active with him gone. King didn't exactly feel ready to be a hero again, but he didn't have a choice right now.
Colby had started to use his powers again, as well as focus on physical rehabilitation. He was absolutely exhausted most of the times since he worked himself to the point where his body would beg for no more and push himself even harder. He was getting better though, there was no doubt about that.
(Great to see your back! I've been a bit busy with school as well, so don't expect consistent replies.)
King was currently making his way back to the- Colby's house after barely beating back the latest villain and their attempts. He was covered in bruises and a nasty cut, but if he was being honest it was nothing new to him.
Colby had finished his training for the day, and now he was currently making dinner with Pax. He had seen King on the tv, and had left out a first aid kit and some comfort items so that King could just come home and rest.
King walked in and saw the first aid kit along with a change of clothes and a blanket. A small smile tugged on his face as he went to bandage up his cut and put cream on his bruises. It was the least he could do before he changed out of his costume before wandering into the kitchen where he had smelled something cooking.
Colby heard the door open and glanced out where King was entering. He smiled a little before returning to cooking, Pax setting out everything so that they could eat. Once King came out of the bathroom, Colby walked to his side and pressed a gentle kiss to his cheek. "Welcome home." He whispers, "You did well today, my hero." He murmured quietly, taking his hand gently.
King had a soft smile on as he watched Colby. He let out a quiet sigh as he squeezed Colby's hand and pressed his head lightly against Colby, "Didn't feel like it. I could've been faster in taking care of the situation."
He shook his head and smiled, "You did so well." He mutters softly and nuzzling into the other and smiling a little bit. He hummed softly as he kissed his cheek and smiled up at him. "You're always amazing, baby." He mutters softly.
King hummed slightly as he pulled his head away ever so slightly. He gave Colby a lopsided smile, "If you say so darling. You already know how my day went, so how was yours?"
He chuckles softly at the lopsided grin. "My day went fine. I did my physical therapy, Pax and I cleaned up the house and made some dinner, and waited for you to come home." He kisses his cheek sweetly.
"Mmm, sounds like you had an uneventful day," King commented looking down at Colby feeling his smile go soft again, "Which is a good thing for you right now."
