Colby followed weakly, his eyes weary and tired. He was having a hard time staying awake. When they got to his room he shed his jacket and shirt, revealing his scarred torso, where his wound was still healing. It wasn't as bad as when the other found him. Now it was just a giant part of pink skin. He settled onto the bed, to tired to find actual pj's. He grabbed King's hand before he could leave. "Please stay… you too Pax…" He whispers. The bed was big enough to fit all three of them comfortably. Pax was already clambering onto the bed.
Hero vs Villain (O/O)
King smiled and moved to join the pair. He took one side of Colby scanning the scars on Colby's torso. He let out a soft sigh wondering if he could have prevented this from happening. He looked up to Colby, "Of course."
Colby nods in thanks before shutting his eyes. Pax snuggled into his chest and looked up at King, smiling warmly. "Thank you… for taking care of my brother…" he whispers quietly.
"No problem," King whispered back. He snuggled up next to Colby as well letting out a deep sigh, "Now let's rest. We can talk in the morning."
(Time skip?)
(Sure. You mind starting.)
(Sure)
Colby sighed softly as he shut his eyes. He groaned softly and stretched, wincing at the sharp pain in his stomach. "Ow…" He mutters quietly.
King felt movement and being the light sleeper he was woke up. He glanced over to Colby hearing the sounds of pain and muttered softly not to wake Pax, "What hurts?"
"Stomach…" He mutters back, shutting his eyes. He hissed in pain and tried to ignore it.
King moved so he could better see Colby's stomach, peeling himself from where he had laid next to him. He was looking at it concerningly, "What type of pain is it love?"
"Just… A sharp pain…" he whispers as he stretches out so King could see it. He hissed slightly in pain before smiling weakly at King. "I'll… I'll be fine." He whispers.
King could see nothing wrong, but was worried none the less. He pulled out a cold light blue crystal and gently placed it on Colby's stomach. He leaned ocer and kissed Colby's forehead, "Does that help at all?"
Colby leaned into the other and nods as the cold crystal is set along his stomach. "Thank you." He mutters softly, his eyes shutting as the pain slowly subsided.
King smiled and yawned slightly. He kept the crystal placed on his stomach, "Your welcome."
He leaned into the other, kissing his cheek sweetly. He sighed quietly as he felt Pax shift a little bit at his side.
King moved so he was holding Colby just ever so slightly. He looked over Colby to see Pax shifting around, "Think we woke Pax up?"
"Nah.. that kid can sleep through anything." he sighed quietly and nuzzled into him happily. "I love you…" He mumbles.
King grinned and kissed Colby's forehead. He looked back to Colby, "That's good to know and I, I love you too."
Colby leaned into the kiss to his forehead and sighed quietly. "Thank you." He whispered, his eyes warm as he gazed at the other.
King gave Colby with a warm smile. He felt his heart swell up as he continued to smile, "No problem. Honestly."
"Please know that I will always love you…" He mutters quietly and nuzzling into his shoulder.
King laughed slightly and kissed Colby on the forehead again. He responded with a slight tease and that much was obvious, "Isn't it a little early to say you'll always love me?"
He smiled and laughed quietly. "I may need to kick your ass every so often, but you know what I mean." He held onto the other happily, his eyes shutting.
King was grinning as he chuckled. He held the other close to him though he didn't want to completely take Colby away from Pax, "Don't you mean I kick your ass?"
"I say there are a fair amount of ass kicking for both of us." he kissed the others cheek gently.
"All part of the job," King responded kissing Colby's cheek back. From his perspective the pair worked so well together.
He laughed before groaning quietly when his injury stung.
King made sure the crystal was still on it and also still cold. He gave Colby a smile, “How does that feel?”
He leaned into the cold and nods slowly. "Feels much better, thank you." He whispers softly, his eyes shutting again.
"Your welcome love," King responded the affectionate term slipping out easily.
