Rowan smiled a little, and stopped with his mouth, resting his forehead on Damian's. "What?" he asked softly. He smiled again. "If you need me to stop, I will. It's your choice." he said, kissing Damian's cheek gently, mouth lingering for a moment. He could feel that Damian's skin was chilly, and while he wondered vaguely why, he didn't mind that much.
Hero x Villain // O/O // Closed
Damian had never done it, maybe that was why he wanted it so badly. Damian wanted Rowan so badly, it tore him apart on the inside because he couldn’t have it. He could never let him, because he’d probably end up hurting himself or Rowan. Damian eyes flashed with a bit of pain from his internal conflict because he closed them and tucked his head into Rowan’s neck. “I…” I want you to take me so, so bad, “I’m sorry,” Damian whispered, his arms tightening around Rowan a little bit more, “I… I can’t…” I can’t do this right now because I’m afraid I’ll end up hurting you but I don’t want to tell you because you might take it like I don’t want to do it with you.
Rowan nodded a little, closing his eyes and holding Damian close. "Okay. I'll stop." he replied softly. He felt disappointed, but he also knew it was only the second time ever that they had seen each other, and he couldn't blame Damian for maybe wanting to take it slower. "It's alright, no need to apologize. We can just cuddle." he tightened his arms around Damian for a moment, then relaxed his hold again, though his arms were still locked around Damian's body.
“Thank you,” Damian whispered softly, relaxing in Rowan’s arms. His body temperature, slowly yet steadily, increased back to a normal temperature. Though the cold temperatures couldn’t hurt Damian, they still could bother him. For instance, he could freeze things just by touching them, but his hands wouldn’t hurt because of it—they’d only feel uncomfortably and annoyingly chilly. So it definitely helped to be in Rowan’s warm arms, to be cuddled up so close to him. He let out a content sigh, mumbling, “I want to… to do it with you, just… not yet.”
Rowan smiled a little, and kissed his forehead. "Alright. Let me know when you're ready, then." he replied softly, holding Damian close. He was going to treasure this for however long it lasted. For however long he got to have Damian, he was going to treasure it. Because he knew that someday it would end, and he wouldn't have Damian anymore. That was how relationships went for him.
Damian smiled happily. He never wanted this to end. Damian snuggled himself a little closer as sleep tugged at him. It was just so warm and comfy in Rowan’s arms, it was no wonder why he was so easily lulled into to peacefulness of rest. Pretty soon his breathing evened out and he went into dreamland.
Rowan blinked when Damian fell asleep. He sighed softly, and turned off the lights, holding Damian close. He let out a quiet breath, closing his own eyes. Hurt him, and I will find a way to hurt you. He told Reaper as he began to fall asleep, arms around Damian. Me? No. I'll wait for you to hurt him. Reaper replied.
Damian slept with a sound or disturbance. No odd dreams or nightmares, just peaceful, calm rest as he snoozed in Rowan’s arms. Maybe it was just a sense he was protected by being in Rowan’s arms- now that sounded messed up, didn’t it? Damian felt protected in the arms of a man who tried to kill him on multiple occasions. Nevertheless, that didn’t bother Damian at all as he slept happily throughout the night.
Rwoan fell asleep, still cradling Damian close to him. He had nightmares, though they weren't as bad as they usually were, and he only woke up once, quickly falling asleep again. He slept soundly after waking up, remaining asleep until morning. His alarm, thankfully, had not been set.
When Damian finally awoke late in the morning, he still felt at peace as if the calmness had settled in him for eternity. But then he quickly realized where he was. I’m in his bed, I’m in his room, I’m in his arms… Gosh Damian knew he shouldn’t, but he loved it. He loved the fact he just spent the night snuggled against Rowan. Damian nuzzled his head into Rowan’s neck, smiling a little into him.
Rowan blinked his eyes open sleepily, looking down at Damian. "G'morning." He mumbled, voice husky and deeper than normal from sleeping. He nuzzled Damian's shoulder lightly, closing his eyes again as he held the other male close.
Damian felt all warm and fuzzy inside. “Morning,” He chimed happily, tightening his arms around Rowan like a koala. “I slept really good…” Damian mumbled, still soaking in Rowan’s heat. It made him feel so good to have another body in the bed, someone to latch onto and snuggle with.
Rowan smiled. "Me too." He replied, kissing Damian's cheek softly. He held Damian as close as he could, eyes closed. He didn't want to let go of the other man. Didn't want him to leave or stop or anything.
“We should do this more often…” Damian mumbled happily. Gosh, he’d want to do this every night. He wanted to be loved every night. Of course, Bailey would probably get jealous if Damian ended up sleeping with Rowan every night, and there was no way Damian would abandon his best bud.
"Definitely." Rowan agreed in a soft voice. He ran a hand through Damian's hair, loving the feeling of the other male's hair in his fingers. He looped a leg around Damian's legs, drawing him closer to kiss him. Sleep well? Maybe I should kill him. Reaper rasped. No. Rowan growled back.
Damian smiled, leaning his head into Rowan’s hand. He liked it how the male ran his hand through his hair. Damian quickly returned the kiss, letting out a hum of satisfaction. His own hands ran themselves over Rowan’s chest, savoring the muscles beneath. Gosh… Damian really, really liked this man. Everything about him -except the fact of him being the Reaper- made Damian want to smile.
Rowan smiled at him, and nuzzled Damian's cheek happily. "We should…probably get out of bed eventually." He said with a soft laugh. He smiled happily, and kissed Damian's cheek, holding him close. He shivered a little at the feeling of Damian's hands on his chest, eyes flickering slightly.
“Noooooo…” Damian protested playfully, turning his head to kiss Rowan’s cheek as well. His lips lingered, and he found his hands traced and memorizing the feel of Rowan’s stunning chest. Gosh, that feeling of want for the other male was springing up in his chest again, but he knew he needed to suppress it. Damian had already risked enough last night, he couldn’t risk it again.
Rowan hummed softly. "Mm. What about breakfast?" he asked, raising his eyebrows and pressing a kiss to Damian's mouth, light and sweet and gentle and kind. He hoped Damian would stay the entire day. Not necessarily in bed, but just…in the house, or they could go somewhere, or…he just wanted to keep Damian close. That was all he wanted.
Damian happily kissed him back, his own lips lazy with sleepiness, before responding, “I’m a better breakfast. You should just keep kissing me.” He let out a laugh, joy lighting up his face. He’d be more than happy to spend all day with Rowan. To be able to hug him or kiss him or and simply just be with him, that’s what Damian wanted. Right now, Damian wanted anything to do with Rowan
Rowan laughed, and kissed him. "Yes, you are a delicious breakfast." he replied teasingly. "But while you satisfy my mouth, my stomach isn't quite so satisfied with you." he smirked a little, and kissed him again. Truth be told, he would happily spend all day like this, with Damian in his arms and against his lips.
Damian loved those kisses. He wanted to be kissed like that for the rest of his life. He let out another little whine but was easily distracted by that kiss again. “Fine, but only if you kiss me for energy,” Damian told him with a grin, closing his eyes with an expectant smile on his lips.
Rowan smiled, and happily obliged, pressing kisses to Damian's lips, then sitting up. There were scars scattered across his torso, which rippled a little as he moved. "Come on, let's go to the kitchen." he said, tugging on Damian's arms.
Damian grinned happily after he got his wish, and he only smiled a bit more when his gaze found that delicious chest. His eyes trailed over each scar, and before he got up he asked, “Will you tell me the stories of all your scars?” Damian got up and off the bed, but he eyes had a hard time leaving that gorgeous chest.
Rowan took in a breath, eyes flickering a little as he looked away. "Maybe someday." He replied quietly, running a hand through his hair. He sighed, and kissed Damian's cheek. "Come on, let's go eat." His voice was a little more subdued than it had been, and he led Damian from the room, hands linked together.
(Heyyy man sorry for late responses, life has been super stressful lately and has kinda gone to heck, I’ll prolly be on more later in the month when winter break comes)
Damian wondered if some of those scars were from him. There were countless times when Damian had thrown ice daggers or spears at Reaper, without a second thought. He had just been trying to defend the city, and if the Reaper was killed because of him, he wouldn’t have blinked twice. But that was before Damian really met him, before he met Rowan. He couldn’t bare to risk the other man’s life anymore. Damian shook the thoughts away, squeezing Rowan’s hand as they left the room. He wouldn’t press on about the scars, he knew it wasn’t his place even if he still wanted to know Rowan more.
(Dude it's fine. I'm busy too)
Rowan sighed softly, and led Damian to the kitchen. "What do you want to eat?" he asked, kissing Damian's cheek lightly, and looking around. "There's…cereal, or oatmeal, or eggs, or…" he trailed off, making a face as he thought about what there was to eat.
“Eggs sound delicious,” Damian replied with a smile, giving that perfect face a returning kiss on the cheek. “I can try to make you breakfast, if you’d like,” Damian offered with a shy smile. He hardly cooked, but that didn’t stop him from wanting to make Rowan breakfast. To do anything, really, to make him as happy as Rowan made Damian happy.
Rowan smiled. "How about we cook breakfast together?" He replied, arm around Damian and holding him close. He let go after a moment, getting out the eggs and starting up the stove, getting out the rest of the supplies needed.
Damian smiled brightly, moving to help Damian with the eggs. He started cracking eggs -at least he knew how to do that successfully- before asking Rowan, “How do you want your eggs? Scrambled, over-easy, sunny side up, or…?” Damian liked this, he liked cooking and to eventually eat breakfast with Rowan. It almost helped Damian’s mind settle a little, to not be so worried about dating the Reaper of all people, when they did sweet domestic stuff like this. It helped him focus on all the good, perfect things about Rowan.
