"That's all I need, darling," Jackson smiled back.
"So, where do you wanna go?" Eric said, cheeks pink.
"Um," Jackosn thought for a moment, "I don't know?"
"Wanna get ice cream or something?" He asked. "I didn't forget my wallet this time, so I can pay you back for yesterday…"
"Yeah," Jackson gave him a soft smile, "We can do that."
Eric smiled back. "Great! Let's go!"
Jackson gave him a happy nod, "Lead the way."
Eric started walking, humming slightly.
Jackson walked after him with a light smile. He really hoped he didn't have any more close calls.
"So, are you getting strawberry or vanilla?" He asked, smiling at him.
"I think vanilla this time," Jackson responded with a smile, "How about you?"
"Chocolate. Always." He said, nodding.
Jackson laughed, "Of course."
Eric laughed slightly.
Jackson had a bright grin on, "Anything else with that chocolate?"
Eric shrugged, still giggling. "Dunno."
Jackson let out a grin, "More chocolate perhaps?"
"Perhaps…" He mumbled, mock serious, biting back a smile.
Jackson could see the almost grin on Eric's face, "Chocolate syrup with your chocolate ice cream?"
"Maybe." He said, breaking into a grin.
Jackson had a grin on, "Or do you want the chocolate shavings?"
"…I don't know." He said, shrugging.
Jackson shrugged and kept walking, "Any topics for discussion?"
"Not really. Did you hear anything?" He asked.
"Nope," Jackson responded, "Thankfully, a drama-free day."
"Good. I swear, our school is a drama magnate." He said, sighing.
"It really is," Jackson gave a slight nod.
"At least it normally gives people something to talk about." He said, smiling.
"Normally, but not today," Jackson responded grinning.
