Lucien got his father, helping the older man down the hallway. "Please get better." he said quietly. "I don't want to add a third braid to my hair." the two braids in the left side of his hair were for his mother and René. His little way of remembering them. And he didn't want to have to add a third for his father. Didn't want to be completely alone.

He was pacing the library now, starting when he felt a hand on his shoulder. There Zephyr was in all his magic glory. "I hope that was quick enough." He chuckles. "The spirit realm is a mess. But I got here as fast as I could." Zephyr brushed some hair away from his face and smiles a little. Aki felt his fear slowly drip away.
His father nodded. "I know. I'll do my best not to put that burden on you." he replied softly.
Lucien exhaled. "Okay. Thank you."
Aki smiled warmly, hugging Zephyr tightly. "I'm glad you're here. There's so much… It's so hard to breathe… I'm scared." He mutters. "It feels like the weight of this kingdom rests on whether or not I can find a cure…" He whispers. Zephyr nods and sighs. "I'm sorry, my apprentice." He pats Aki's head gently. "I will help you in the best ways I can." He says quietly. Aki nods in thanks before pulling away. He took a deep breath.
Lucien reached out and touched his father's arm. "Dad…why can't the laws be changed? I know this isn't the time to talk about it, but…why do I have to marry a woman?"
"Because…you know why, son. I'm sorry." His father replied.
Aki smiled a little. "You brought Micah." He mutters, gazing at the giant wolf who wagged her tail happily when she was acknowledged. Zephyr nods and smiles. "I never go anywhere without her, you should know this Aki." Aki nods slowly. "I know… She's always been comforting though… having her here." He replies before looking up at Zephyr. "I have the notebook. But it's not much to go off of." He mutters softly.
Lucien led his father to where everyone else waited, helping the older man to sit down on a bed. He let out a breath.
Aki took a deep breath. "I'm ready…" He says softly. Zephyr nods and they enter. "Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. King." He bows politely. "I have gathered us all here today because there is a looming threat to our kingdom. Today the prince and I discovered a room that was created by magic. In that room was a journal, along with many many horrors. This… A plague, an illness or disease is headed straight for us."
The physicians stared, whispering a little at the news. But no one questioned it. Many cast curious glances at Lucien, before returning their gaze to Aki and his mentor.
Zephyr nods. "Things have been off balance in the spirit realm, which means there was a disturbance there as well. This illness will spread, will destroy everything. Finding a cure is necessary." Aki places the book in front of the physicians. "There are notes in here that I don't understand. Due to medical words. Could you figure out these pleas" he asks softly
The head physician nodded, and picked up the notebook, flipping through it for a moment. His eyes narrowed, then widened. "I uhm…this is…" He shook his head. Lucien bit his lip, watching.
Aki nods. "From the future. The room we found, as said was laced with magic. The symptoms are unlike anything I've ever seen before…" He settles into a chair. "There's dangers left and right. But we need to find cures or some type of cure before we can do anything about it."
The physician nodded. "Right. I uh…I'll do my best." He replied, holding the notebook carefully.
"Please do." He says and shakes his head. "There's more information in the back." He sighs quietly, running a hand through his hair.
The physician nodded. "Right." He looked pale, nervous. A little worried.
Lucien took a deep breath.
Aki nods before standing. "If you need assistance, my master Zephyr is brilliant with medicines and herbs." Zephyr nods. "I've called on a few friends for help." He replies, a small smile on his lips.
The physician nodded. "Alright. Thank you." He replied, clutching the notebook carefully.
Lucien bit his lip.
Zephyr nods before silencing himself. Aki took a deep breath. "As for the attempted murder on the king, I have reason to believe that these two things are related. If we can find the kings failed assassin then perhaps we have a more likely chance of finding a cure."
The physician nodded.
Lucien bit his lip a little. Hopefully… He sighed softly.
Aki nods. "I'm sorry, this is all I can give you. My king, not a word of this can get out. If people find out there will be panic." He says slowly. "Physician. Pick a few people you trust and swear them to secrecy." He says softly.
The king nodded. "I understand, young magician." He replied, still seated.
The physician dipped his hand. "Alright. I…I…" He cleared his throat. "I can do that."
He nods and clears his throat. "Other then that I have nothing to give you all." He whispers.
Lucien cleared his throat, and stood. "Thank you, Aki, for all the help, and letting us know." He said carefully. He looked at the physician. "You're dismissed. Work on that notebook, it's your priority now." He instructed.
The physician bowed, and left quickly.
"Very well. As for me and Zephyr we'll be looking for the kings assassin. Prince Lucien, I may need your help." He says quietly, glancing over at the prince.
Lucien nodded. "Of course. I'll be right back, I need to help the king back to his own room." He replied, helping his father up.
Aki nods a little and smiles kindly. "Thank you for your time, your highness."
Lucien nodded. "Yeah. Thank you for…a lot." he chuckled softly as he helped the king out of the room.
