Just... A Reboot RP I Shouldn’t Be Making... @_octane_ COME MORROW

Gij watched with slight awe. “Th-that’s really cool.” He shifted his grip on the pup.

"Thank you," Kai said with a small smile. He began to lead the way towards his bunker

Gij followed him, looking around every so often as they walked. “Er… how far is it?”

"Not far, about a block or two," Kai answered

Gij nodded and shifted his grip on the pup again. “Do you have any… ovens?”

"Yes, I have an oven. Why?" Kai asked curiously, a brow raised as he spoke

“Oh. I just wanted to know. Ovens are nice.” He smiled a bit.

Kai wanted to give him a weird look, but he just shook his head before continuing walking. This generation was so weird.

Gij’s face straightened and he looked down at his feet. He wasn’t one who was good with… talking. He had lived really far away.

Eventually they happened upon a very abandoned-looking building. Kai opened the old door and stepped inside before beginning to weave his way through the building

Gij followed him the best he could but still managed to trip over a few machine legs and boxes. He glanced up at Kai, biting his lip.

Kai glanced back at Gij the first time he tripped, but after a while he figured the other just couldn't help it. Eventually they made their way to an elevator in the back, and he stepped inside

Gij shuffled after him and paused in the elevator, looking around. The lump gave a loud cry when he stopped moving.

Kai looked up and raised a brow when he heard the noise. "Is it okay?" he asked before pressing the button for the habitation suite

(Murdock?)

Gij shifted his grip and nodded. “He should be okay soon.”

(whoops, sorry. Kai's full name is Murdock Kai and I mixed up)

Kai just nodded and waited for the elevator to stop at the hab suite. When it dinged he walked out into a warmly lit living area with a view of the street below

Gij followed him into the warm room, sighing softly. He looked around, nodding.
“Nice place.”

"Thanks," Kai said before going over to the kitchen. "I have blankets and such for the creature you have, as well as an oven," he said, a small smile quirking at his lip as he pointed to said oven

Gij looked down at his feet and nodded. “Okay. Thanks.” He didn’t move otherwise. Just stared at his feet in thought.

Kai nodded, but when Gij didn't do anything, he raised a brow. "What's wrong?" he asked, his head tilted slightly to the side as he spoke

Gij started and looked up. “Oh. Nothing. I’m fine.” He sat down on the ground, shivering a little.

"You don't have to sit on the ground like that, you know. I have a couch," Kai said as he gestured towards said couch

Gij shrugged and looked down at the lump in his arms. “I’m okay.”

"There is a couch, and I might trip over you if you're on the floor. Up, please," Kai said a bit more fimrly now

“Oh.” Gij stood and sat on the couch. He wasn’t much for weird human things.
“Okay.”

(hm, so neither of them are human then?)

"Good," Kai said, giving a little nod before going to get some blankets. He then deposited them next to Gij

(Nope, Gij isn’t.)

Gij looked down at it, then up at Kai again. “Okay. Thanks.”

Kai nodded before sitting down in a nearby recliner. "Do you want anything to eat?" he asked

Gij looked down and around. “Um… no. No thanks.”

"What about the pup?" Kai now asked
