Just... A Reboot RP I Shouldn’t Be Making... @_octane_ COME MORROW

Gij looked back down at the softly whining lump in his arms. “Er… yeah, he would like something, probably.”

"What does he eat? Meat, fish..?" Kai asked slowly before going and walking to the fridge in the moderately sized fridge

Gij peered into the lump, looking at the whining pup. “I think he’d like that. And some water.”

"Alright," Kai said before settling on just getting the pup some fish he had leftover. He heated it up in the microwave before getting some water and giving it to Gij

Gij set the bowl down on his lap and carefully lowered the pup onto the couch. It cried out unhappily, tucking away into the blanket.

Murdock's lips pursed a bit, feeling a bit sad for the pup. "Why is it so upset?" he asked quietly, not wanting to upset the pup further

Gij sighed. “He’s just scared. He’s usually happier than this. But where we came from was really scary. I don’t blame him for being afraid.” He clicked his tongue and pushed the bowl to the pup, humming softly in a strange tongue.

Kai nodded along, eventually just sitting down in the recliner again. "Is it going to keep hiding like that?" he asked

Gij paused in his strange humming. The pup yapped back softly and poked his blue snoot out of the blanket, to snuffle at the water.

Kai watched the pup with a tiny bit of awe. "It's so…cute," he murmured softly, not wanting to spook the pup

Gij smiled and rubbed his little snoot. “I know. He’s very sweet.” The pup yapped fearfully up at Gij, shaking head to paws.

Kai frowned a bit when he saw the pup getting scared again. Slowly, he approached it, not wanting to startle it. "Hey, hey. It's okay," he murmured softly

The pup looked at Kai and scrambled away into his roll of blanket. He yapped fearfully, shaking.
Gij made a faint “awww” in his throat.

Kai frowned a little at that. With a bit of concentration, he managed to shape the energy field he put off so that it was closer to his body. He did his best to make it feel comforting as he slowly outstretched a hand

The pup made low whining noises as he felt Kai approach. He gazed out at him from the folds, his wide blue eyes sparkling in fear.

"Hey now, it's okay…I'm not gonna hurt you," Murdock murmured gently, resting his hand just in front of the blanket for the pup to sniff

The pup whined loudly and Gij laughed softly. “I’m here, buddy, you can trust him.”
The pup yapped a bit in response and leaned forward slowly, sniffing the air.

Murdock smiled a little bit when the pup began moving forward. "There, there, it's okay," he murmured

The pup snuffled his hand, scooted back a bit, then forward again.
Gij laughed softly. “He’s a very curious thing.”

Murdock gave a small laugh along with him. "You can come out, little one. I'm warm," he murmured

The pup yapped at him and snuck out of the blankets, nuzzling his hand gently. His thick tail thumped slightly.

Murdock was internally squealing from the cuteness, but he restrained himself. "There you are," he murmured gently, a warm smile on his face

The pup yapped softly up at him and snuffled the water. He started to violently lap it up, sploshing water everywhere.

Murdock squeaked when he got water on him, but he quickly began giggling. "Aw, it's so cute," he chuckled

Gij scooted out of the way of the water, laughing. “I know. He’s starving, aren’t cha?”
The pup yapped loudly.

Kai chuckled and let him have the water before going and getting the chicken. "Here you go, buddy," he said softly, setting the plate next to the water

The pup finished with the water, or the bow was totally empty, and he went to the meat, gobbling it down hungrily.
Gij laughed softly and rubbed his back. “He might need more.”

"I've got it," Kai said before getting up and going to get the pup more food and water

Gij rubbed the pup’s snoot. “Thank you. What is your name?”

"Mine?" Kai asked. "Oh, it's Murdock. Murdock Kai. Or Overdrive, as I'm also known," he responded
