Claire managed to get through gym, but her mind was on one very cute person. She was waiting for gym to end so she could text Hina again.

Hina finished a sketch of a cherry blossom tree.

The bell rang and Claire took off. She shot a text to Hina. Gym finally ended!!

Hina looked at her phone.
That's great!

What's your next period?? I'll meet you there she said, excited to see her. She then mentally reminded her that it had only been one period.

I think it's…English. Yeah, English.

Okay I'll meet you there

Ok!
She puts her phone up heading to her English class.

Claire rushed to meet Hina at the door. She made her way through the narrow hallways and slithered between the mass of people before getting to the English classroom and stood there waiting for Hina.

Hina gets there and smiles at Claire. "Hey!"

"HIna!" Claire immediately felt a sense of relief and happiness flow through her. "Well, to English we go I suppose?" What are you saying??"

"Yep!" she said cheerfully.

And so the pair walked in, where a group of boys were snickering and pointing at them. Claire recognized them as the boys from lunch and felt a surge of anger.

Hina put her arm in front of her. "Just ignore them."

Claire began to protest but stopped herself. "Sorry."

Hina sighed. "It's fine. Just don't engage them."

"I- okay." Claire sat down, still imagining punching them in the face.

Hina sits next to her holding her hand mouthing 'thank you'

Claire mouthed back. 'Of course" She turned her attention to the front of the room, but got distracted because Hina was right next to her and she could not stop turning to look at her.

Hina was doing her work quietly looking up at the teacher every once in a while

Claire watched Hina listen attentively to the teacher and the lesson and tried to do the same. Unfortunately, that did not happen.

Hina smiles

Claire couldn't help but think about Hina's beautiful smile. She watched her lips turn up slightly before forming a real grin. She watched her eyes light up when she did that, and she wanted to watch that forever.

After a while the bell rang.

Claire walked to Hina. There was only one more period left. "What are you doing after school??" she asked. Maybe they'd be able to hang out.

"Not much."

"Well do you wanna maybe do something?" she said, coolly.

"Sure!"

"Like what? Maybe your house? Or mine? I don't really care…"
