"Your house…Joseph's a pain."

"Is Joseph your brother? How many siblings do you have?" she asked. She was curious.

"Just Joseph."

"Claire thought back to earlier in the day. "Was he at lunch?" she asked. She wanted to know all about Hina even if it was about her brother.

"He was talking with your friend remember?"

"Was he? I didn't notice…" Claire said.

Hina laughed. "I guess not."

Claire felt a blush creeping onto her face when she heard Hina laugh. Wow she's cute

She was blushing little. God I'm such an idiot

"Okay. We should probably get to class? Then, my house." she said, desperate to stop her from noticing her blush.

"Let's go!"

The pair walked to class and sat down. Claire sat in between Hina and her friend Jemi. She gazed at Hina. Jemi noticed and asked, "Why are you looking at her so much??" Claire looked away quickly. "Cuz, she's new? And she's my friend? Why not?"

Hina laughed. "A friend huh."

Claire turned toward Hina. Well, maybe one day it'll be more. She didn't dare say that out loud, of course.

Hina sneezed with a squeak.

"Bless you." she said without thinking.

"T-Thanks."

"You're welcome!" she said. Claire paid attention to the class, looking over periodically at Hina. Before she knew it the bell rang.

Hina was asleep from finishing her work early.

Claire walked up to Hina, who was quietly sleeping on her desk. Aww she's cute… She gently shook her awake and told her the bell had rung.

She whined a little. "I didn't realize I fell asleep…."

"Yeah, I was going to wake you earlier but you looked so peaceful…"

"…Thanks…"

"Yeah, anyway school's over. To my house we go!"

"Let's go…" She said tiredly.

Claire was excited. But she could tell that Hina was tired. "You seem tired. Are you sure you still wanna come over?"

"I just woke up…What do you expect?"

Claire laughed. "True." She grabbed Hina's arm and tugged. "But I'm excited! Let's goooo!"

Hina laughed and followed.

Claire walked with Hina to her house. She lived close enough that she was able to walk to and from home. Her dad was at work and her mom was…well that was another story. She had an older sister who was at college but no one else.
