"Alright, time to dig through some ashes."

โYou wanna start on one end and Iโll start on the other?โ Sterling suggested, setting her down.
"Sure." She started digging through the ashes.

Sterling nodded and walked around to the other side. He hummed, sitting down and digging through the ashes as well.
"God, when was the last time this was cleaned?" She scoffed.

Sterling groaned, hanging his head. โThat should be fun. Iโll crawl in.โ

Sterling laughed and stood, slowly making his way around the pit. โAre you sure about that?โ
"Very sure." She smiled confidently.

Sterling chuckled as he reached her, sticking his blackened hands into his pockets. โAre you absolutely positive?โ
"Mhm. Pretty positive." Her smile didn't waver.

โReally, now,โ Sterling murmured, bending down to grab her by the waist.

"Don't stain my shirt, okay?" She chuckled, tugging at the oversized shirt that he had pulled her out of bed wearing.

"Yes, I know what a washing machine is, I do my own laundry. Just having to do all the prep work for removing stains is such a pain."
