Mermaid/romance rp thing one on one

"I'M TRYING TO SAVE ROSE!" He yelled, reaching for her.

Diara blocked him. "Where's Moxiey?" she asked sharply, shoving him away from Rose.

"Somewhere safe." He lied, trying still to get past Diara.

Diara scowled and repeatedly blocked him.
Moxiey managed to get into the water and swam back towards the cavern. She hid behind a rock and watched for a moment.

Grayson pulled away and swam back towards the rock, spotting Moxiey and frowning.

Diara noticed his gaze and expression. She quickly followed him and spotted Moxiey as well. An evil smile spread across her lips."Hello."
Moxiey smiled at Grayson but quickly coward from Diara.

Grayson swam quickly over to Moxiey. "Go get Rose and get out of here." He whispered.

"I can't leave you," Moxiey cried quietly.

"Just do it, now." He growled in a whisper.

"No," she whispered faintly.
Diara bolted towards them.

"GO!" He yelled, pushing her away and ramming into Diara in an attempt to buy Moxiey time.

Moxiey glided a few yards.
Diara cried out in surprise before pushing back aggressively.
Moxiey quickly swam over to Rose and freed her. "Come on!" she moaned, pulling her friend away quickly.

Grayson continued fighting Diara, watching as Moxiey pulled Rose away.

Moxiey watched Grayson with tears in her eyes. She strained to get Rose to safety.
Diara was too busy fighting in the meantime to notice.

Grayson kept fighting and turned so Diara was facing away from Rose and Moxiey.

Diara sneered. "You're not so powerful." She reached out and scratched at his bubble, trying to pop it.

Grayson dived away from her and attempted to swim out of the cavern.

Diara, who could swim much faster, caught up to him and sucessfully popped his bubble. "Ha!" she taunted. "Who's so great now?"

Grayson started to swim faster, his lungs tightening with lack of oxygen.

Diara grabbed his ankle. "Not so fast…"
Moxiey saw and gasped. "Grayson!" She set Rose down and swam over as quickly as she could with her two legs.

Grayson shook his head frantically and struggled to break free.

"Let him go, Diara!" Moxiey pleaded.
Diara pretended to think, mocking the good mermaid.

Grayson grew weaker, his struggling growing less frantic. His body went limp.

Moxiey screamed. She swam over and scooped Grayson out of Diara's grip. Diara let go of him, musing to herself. Moxiey kicked, trying to bring Grayson to the surface. "Come on… come on…" She strained… almost at the surface.

Grayson wasn't breathing when they reached the surface.

Moxiey brought him to the beach where they first met because it was the closest. She pulled him onto the sand and her legs gave out from exhaustion. "Grayson…" she coughed.

Grayson heaved over and started coughing loudly. Water spilled out of his mouth and he choked, still couging.

Moxiey scrambled over, taking his face in her hands. "Grayson, you're alive!" she cried happily.

He tried to speak but was breathing to heavily and continued coughing.

Moxiey wrapped her arms around him in a tight hug. "I thought you were going to die," she whispered.
