He glanced down at her. “Explain.”

"Zackary's gone, for good. Your brother's guarding the orbs now. I'm just..tired."

M sighed. “Yes, Neo did say that he was going to be guarding them. It’ll be one hell of a job.”

“Yeah..so tell me, why are you just out here..in a tree?”

“I’m always in a tree when I go outside. It’s nicer up here.”

North laughed a little. “You’re crazy..”

M shrugged, his face still dipped in a frown. “It’s comfy.”

“Yeah especially when you fall out like last time.”

M shrugged. “I don’t have the best balance.”

“Guess that’s acceptable I mean you are like 6000 years old.”

M nodded with a sigh. “Indeed I am.”

"I've known you for..four or five years, isn't that fun.."

M hummed. “Fun is correct.” He smiled.

"And I have the pleasure of knowing you for the rest of my very, very long life." She grinned up at him.

He grinned down at her. “Perhaps you will. Perhaps Death’ll take pity on me…”

"But I would miss you, so would Pax, and probably Neo."

M snorted. “Neo wouldn’t miss me. He’s too stubborn.”

"Aww I bet he would." She felt the rain soaking her hair but it didn't matter.

M shrugged. “He might. There might be some grief.”

"There would be lot's of grief. But wait for a while, don't go yet."

M flicked his hair out of his face. “I will, just because you asked.”

"I've missed you M.."

M smiled down at her. “Yeah? I missed you too.”

"What do I do when you're gone?" She asked quietly.

M shrugged a little and looked up at the cloudy sky. “Dunno. Pax could keep you entertained.”

"I guess I could go back home, look for my family or somehting."

“Home? Family? You’ve already found them.” M looked down at her. “Look, I’m not going to leave for a long time, so don’t worry yourself.”

"I was talking about my other siblings, with the exception of Charlie."

M hummed. “That’d be an adventure to enjoy.”
