North looked a little amused by Neo and the tree but took his arm anyway.

Neo nodded. “I’ll take you home.”

North nodded and turned to wave goodbye to Tyler. She glanced down at her hand and frowned. "Oh..M took my wedding ring.."

Neo blinked. “We can ask for it back.”

"I was planning on it." She said, trying to recall what had happened after Tyler's death.

“Alright, let’s go.” Neo interrupted her musings with a crack.

North appeared back at the mansion and looked up. "You staying Neo?"

Neo shrugged. “You want me to?”

"You don't have to. Just wondering." She started walking back to the mansion.

Neo rolled his eyes. “See you, then.”

"Byee. Think about bringing him back please. It would be amazing if you did." She waved.

Neo hummed a response and disappeared with his customary crack.

North walked happily back into the mansion and into the kitchen looking for M.

M was not in the kitchen, but Pax was there eating another bag of chips. He was stuffing his face right, too.

“Hey Pax! Do you know where M is?” She asked happily.

Pax looked up, crumbs falling from his face. “Bebroom!”

North laughed and nodded, walking to M’s bedroom and knocking on the door.

“Enter.” Called M’s voice faintly.

North opened the door and walked in. “Hey, watcha doing?”

M was curled up in the bed reading a different book. “Reading. Why?”

“Can I have my ring back?” She sat down next to him.

M blinked at her. “What? Your ring?”

"Uh yeah. My wedding ring. I assume you took it after Tyler died?"

M grunted. “Yeah, I did.”

"Well can I have it back?"

“Sure. In the sock drawer.”

"Everything's always in the sock drawer.." She muttered to herself, walking over and opening it. She rummaged a bit and found it a minute later.
