She nodded and went off. Within minutes, she was back. "Well…?" she asked shyly.

He turned around and grinned. He took her by the hand and spun her slowly, "well, one would say you look breathtakingly beautiful, truely the embodiment of the animal you represent. But it's so much more," Gabriel pulled her close to his chest and gazed into her eyes "truely and utterly magnificent, my love."

Nathalie felt her heart racing at his actions. "Oh… thank you…" she breathed softly. "It's all your work. Nothing I could ever do would be better than this. You are the best designer in Paris, Gabriel."

He tilted her head up and shook his head "there are better out there." He muttered, lightly brushing her hair from her face and gazing at her "you wear it best."

She blushed. "You flatter me…"

"good, that was my initial intent. He kissed her softly and pulled away "now let's see what you've created."

She blushed. "It certainly isn't as speculator as this…"

"I'm sure that's very untrue." He kissed her temple and headed to the study

She held up the dress, careful not to dirty it, and followed him, biting her lip. She prayed that he would like it.

He stepped I to the study, a smile growing across his face as he saw the dark suit. "How…love this is amazing!"

Nathalie blushed. "Gabriel, please…"

"what? Am I not allowed to praise you for your work?" He asked with a smile, walking around the suit and admiring the detail

She didn't respond, only watched his eyes.

He glanced up and grinned "I'm taking that as a no and that I can continue to praise your work." He pulled the suit off the maniquin and headed to his room to change

Nathalie blushed. She felt the sides of her dress. Gabriel had outdone himself.

Gabriel pulled off his own jacket and pulled on the one Natalie had made, again admiring the intracate work and how it fit so well

She waited patiently and nervously. What if he doesn't like it?

Gabriel stepped out of the room, holding the mask in his hands "I have no words…"

Nathalie turned quickly at the sound of his voice. She blushed. His appearance was striking.

He glanced up at her and smiled "you don't give yourself enough credit." He pulled her to him and stoked her cheek

She moved her head into the motion. "Thank you, Gabriel…"

He laughed softly and kissed her lips "my beautiful, love." He muttered

She blushed. "You like it?"

"like it is an understatement." He muttered softly "I don't think there are words to describe this."

Nathalie closed her eyes. The praise felt good, warming her chest.

He pulled back slightly, keeping a hand on the small of her back "ready to go?"

She let her eyes flutter open. "Yes. Did you make a mask for me?" He had only given her the dress.

He nodded and broke away from her to go back to the living room to grab her mask and fan

Nathalie patiently waited for him.
