"All right, then," Autumn said, picking up sticks that were similar to the one she held.
mOth GIRL COME MORROW I WANT ANOTHER RP WITH YOU
After strict supervision, they had seven sticks. "Great. Let's go get s'more stuff."
"Finally… I never knew someone could be so picky about s'mores sticks," Autumn teased.
Alex shook himself out. "I want to optimize s'more experiences for everyone."
"I don't think anybody really cares how perfect their stick is, though," Autumn chuckled.
"I care that my bandmate's sticks are perfect. I am anybody."
"All right, then, anybody. Where are the rest of the things for s'mores?" Autumn asked.
"On the patio." Alex pointed over to the little table he mentioned earlier.
"Right, duh," Autumn laughed as she walked over to grab the rest of the s'mores things.
Alex handed out sticks and sat down in his chair, humming happily as Autumn collected the crackers, chocolate and MARSHMALLOWS
(Mm… S'mores…)
Autumn grabbed everything and brought them over to the rest of the group. "So… Let's eat!"
(mmm)
Alex grinned. "Yes let us eat!"
J reached over and took the mallows from her. He tore open the bag and started his feast. No one stopped him.
Autumn chuckled and quickly grabbed a marshmallow from the bag. She stuck it on a stick and roasted it carefully.
B rolled her eyes and pulled out a bag of mallows from under her chair.
“Here’s our marshmallows, all.”
Autumn smiled, amused. "Marshmallow hoarder?"
“No, J just loves his mallows. We always buy extra,” Alex explained.
J glanced up and started eyeing the second bag.
"Why don't we keep the second bag far away from him," Autumn suggested, a hint of laughter in her voice.
Alex laughed. “Hear hear!”
B chuckled and tossed the bag over to Autumn. “Just keep it over there. He won’t go over there with you two.”
“What makes you think I won’t?”
"I'll hold onto it, then," Autumn chuckled.
Kayla giggled at the look on J's face, biting her lip to try to stop. She grabbed a marshmallow from the bag and stuck it on her stick.
J glanced over at the bag of mallows, then over at Kayla unknowingly. He stared for a while then shook his head, back to his bag of marshmallows.
Kayla blushed, having felt his eyes on her. She stared at her marshmallow as it roasted, turning to golden perfection.
Alex roasted his own snatched-from-Autumn mallow, humming gently as it burned steadily. It caught aflame and Alex lifted it up. “Perfect!”
Without blowing it out he put it on his gram crackers and chocolate.
Autumn stared at him with raised eyebrows. "How did you do that without burning yourself?"
Alex didn’t answer her and took a bite, simultaneously making everyone ever cringe at the same time.
"That's… That's just… Wow. Okay, then," Autumn said, blinking a few times.
Alex happily enjoyed his slightly smothering s’more in cringe-filled silence, grinning a little.
Autumn shook her head and pulled her own golden-brown marshmallow out of the flames. She stuck it between the graham crackers with a piece of chocolate, them bit into it with a pleased smile.
Alex glanced at her then at everyone else, who had gone back to what they were doing.
“So! Music.”
B nodded frankly.
"Yeah, music… How long have you guys been a band?" Autumn asked, glancing around at the group.
Alex grunted. “About three or four years.”
B laughed tiredly. “Yep. Just about.”
