"You look ridiculous," Autumn declared, shaking her head with a grin.

Alex grabbed her into his arms for a hug. “We can’t have that! I’ll whip up something straight away.”

Alex rocked them back and forth. “Dunno! What do you want?”

Alex chuckled. “I dunno if I have the stuff for it.”

Autumn frowned. "Okay. What about tacos?"
Alex’s frown remained. “No… I don’t have meat.”

"Well, what do you have?" Autumn laughed.
Alex laughed with her. “Probably a granola bar in the cabinet!”

"Bachelors…" Autumn mumbled under her breath with a roll of her eyes. She looked up at Alex and raised an eyebrow. "You need to go grocery shopping."
Alex stuck his tongue out at her at her utterances. He gave a slight shrug. “Yeah, but it might all rot if I leave.”

"How long do you usually stay for? You would only have to get enough to for however long that is," Autumn pointed out.
“It all depends. Sometimes my bandmates drag me out of the house, then we’re called for a studio recording, which takes days.”

"Hm. Well, you could at least get food for the week that I'm here, right? Unless you were planning on leaving before I do," Autumn said with a shrug.
Alex shook his head. “I was just giving an example. But sure, we can get some food. Now?”

"I'm starving and beat. I don't really want to go anywhere," Autumn said with a sheepish smile. "Why don't we go later? Or tomorrow."
Alex grinned. “Makes sense. Tomorrow sounds good. Wanna order out instead?”

"Sure. Pizza, then? Or something different?" Autumn asked, pecking his nose.
Alex grinned and hummed in thought. “Mexican? I know a good place that delivers.”

"Mexican sounds good!" Autumn agreed with a grin. "Can we sit on the couch now, though? Like I said, I'm exhausted…"
Alex nodded. “Sure! Make yourself comfy! I’m gonna run upstairs and pack up some stuff in my room.”

"Okay. Thanks, babe," Autumn said, smiling as she pulled away gently. She kissed his cheek one last time before walking over to the couch and sitting down on it.
Alex kissed her cheek back. “No problem, baby.” He trotted up the steps and into his room. He plugged in his laptop, shut it off, threw on a pair of jeans and went downstairs again, joining Autumn on the couch.

"Hello, rockstar," Autumn greeted him when he sat down. She had her legs pulled up onto the couch beside her, so she shifted them to the other side so that she was sitting closer to him.
Alex threw an arm around her. “Hey there, actress. How is my favorite person ever doing?”

"Tired," Autumn sighed with a smile. "I might pass out before the food gets here."
Alex laughed gently. “Then I’ll just wake you up.” He snagged his phone from between the cushions, holding up his phone. “We’ll have to order it first, though.”
